Chinese Proverbs Do you agree with them? What do you think they mean?

-Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without one.
-He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.
-Of all the strategems, to know when to quit is the best.
-One cannot refuse to eat just because there is a chance of being choked.
-We are not so much concerned if you are slow as when you come to a halt.
-Keep a green tree in your heart, and perhaps a songbird will come.

I love finding out the hidden meanings of Chinese proverbs, they're so wise and they really enlightens me with what I do!

Haha...yeah..I like them! First one I ever heard was:

I agree any Chinese proverb. To me, they all make sense. The people who came up with there proverbs were really smart.

ah, yes. I agree with them. But it was a pain to memorize tons of proverbs and apply them. Horrible school memories. D:
