I've been getting these spam phone calls from the same number on my cell phone lately, and I don't know if there's a way I can block calls from that number. It's getting so annoying. I got like 10 calls the other day, and I got charged for them.

Can anyone tell me how to block calls from that specific number, if it's possible? tears.gif I use a w810i.

you can try calling your service provider and asking them if they could block it for you

best thing i can suggest is put a silent ringer on your cellphone
and make a group called telemarketers or something and assign that group the silent ringtone so you can ignore the calls

Not sure what service provider you have but log into their website and you should have the option to block numbers. I am for sure mytmobile has it. Don't know about AT&T.

For those in the USA, telemarketing calls to cell phones ARE ILLEGAL. Inform the caller that they are breaking the law, and should they continue, you will seek litigation...and that should take care of it.

I work as a telemarketerand yes it is illegal for us to call you on your cellphone unless you authorize us to. I always suggest that you register your phone at donotcall.gov it sure does help a lot!

Ohh, thank you to you and YunHoLuv14! I think they got my number when I stupidly put my cell # down for some of those free offers in the Samples and Freebies section of Soompi. blink.gif What an idiot I was.

Call your service provider and tell them the situation. They can block the number for free if it is within reason. smile.gif

I called AT&T customer service, and the person told me that I'd have to pay $4.99 a month to have them blocked. sad.gif And I couldn't log onto my account on the website to check if I could block via online because my dad freaking set this passcode-type of thing when he started the contract for some dumb reason and forgot it.

Oh well, I called donotcall.gov the other day and it worked. Thank God, haha. It was pretty cool, I just registered, and I stopped getting calls the next day, haha.

Problem solved! Thanks, MizzKrazie and YunHoLuv14. happy.gif

I've been receiving phone calls (early in the morning) from a Spanish telemarketer & it's a Canadian number
I think they're automated messages, but I've told her to "PLEASE STOP CALLING MEEEE"
My voice mailbox is full with those messages and I don't know what they're advertising too mellow.gif
I've added my number to the national don't call list too, but I don't think that works
