er something like that, cant quite remember exactly sweatingbullets.gif

anyways, whenever i go to California Adventure, i always go to the
animation studio and take the character quiz with my friends, and once
i get to the question where it asks if i follow my heart or head, all of my
friends tell me that i follow the logic of my head mellow.gif
i guess its true for me; i tend to avoid getting close with guys sometimes
since my head tells me that it wont work or last long in the end, so i block out my feelings for them

so what about you guys? when it comes to relationships and such,
do you follow your heart, or the logic in your head?
and did your choice work out or back fire?

i used to follow my heart, until it led me to too many disappointments. but not for all categories, just in [love].

a loner.

think too much. make up excuses not to meet people.
of the opposite sex... o_O' new scary concept..

again, find excuses not to.

_ THEN. i realised i couldn't control who i liked. and my heart lead me, as my mind didn't 1. work. 2. know what i could do about it.

- but still. i accepted "it wouldn't work" before i ever confessed. so i 'spose my mind did more work.

. the only relationship thingy i was ever in seemed to be a very mature.
it started so.... effortlessly.. o_o' and grew from puppy love. to talking about deeper things
o_O' but very..passionate.... Lol. take that as you will. >>'

so... not much mind there... >>' it was when i had to end it... -sighs-

NOW... i try to avoid letting my heart out without a leash..

I follow my heart.
No matter how naive it is, there's just that part of me that wants to believe.
Although, I swear following my heart would lead to severe consequences someday...

I listen to what my heart tells me... and my brain works with my heart to make a decision =)
LOL. Does that even make sense?

i usually stick with following my heart.
my sense of logic is so circular, my personality so indecisive that reason/logic do nothing for me.

I do both, infact it alternates sleep.gif

What I've found with following my heart, is that more often than not, it ends up me feeling incredibly awful.

What can I do? Sometimes it's worth the pain I guess?

I follow my heart, but I think I might've hit a brick wall.
Time to change my priorities.

if ur really stupid and u have no expirence in life so that ur head doesnt know how to do things to make them work out, then ppl want u to just "fallow ur heart" because its the EASY thing to do.

fallowing ur heart means just do w/e feels right.

eating 10 tubs of ice cream feels right most of the time huh? but in ur mind ur like dude i cant. so u stop. u fallow ur mind.

you are studying but ur friend asks u to go karaoke shoot some pool go out and eat and watch a movie. damn it sounds great u really wanna do it with all of ur heart. but ur mind says hell no foo u gotta do wat u hve to do be responsible.

the heart is childish immature selfish and irresponsible. fallowing ur heart is just somthing stupid people use as an excuse for making bad choices, "at least i was fallowing my heart" damn if u knew any better then you wouldn't have made that stupid mistake.

so.. beceome wise. get more expirence. become stronger. better, then ur mind will lead ur heart like a real adult, not ur heart leading ur mind like a child.

to make more sense to those who cannot understand the concept. the OP says she stays away from guys because she is scared, is that fallowing ur logic? or is it fallowing ur emotion? fear is an emotion, it comes from the heart. so because of her heart, she chooses not to be with them, her heart also tells her maybe she should like them, but it is also afraid. the mind doesn't think that way, the mind is not selfish like the heart. so to the OP i believe u are fallowing ur heart, its just that fear devides ur heart in 2.

if you fallow ur mind, u will think deeper then that, u will be responsible for those around you. if someone loves you, then you should repay their love with love of ur own, with the assumption that it is a deep and matured love and not just that puppy love and false ideas of love stuff everyone has on their minds.

when one becomes strong, their heart fallows their mind, if ur s/o does somthing stupid, u will probably leave, not becuase of the fear they would do it again, but becuse the pain they caused at that moment, its only pain. it will go away, but u choose to end it cuz u feel bad at the moment. if u were a bigger person with a strong mind, and choose to stay by someone thro the storm. to be loyal to the point of moving the very soul, then ur heart will surly fallow.

no one wants to work hard for a relationship to work, when their heart says go for it, they go out, whne the heart says eh im bored i dont like them nemore, u stop. ur heart only thinks about urself, its selfish sinful, it is a horrible thing. ur heart is blind, for it has no eyes.
Think about all the things in this life that hurts you... do not do those things.

seems as though follwing your heart
leads to lots of dissapointments from
the replies o____o

so i figured i do listen to my heart, kinda?
after reading what ajlee613 wrote up there ^

i guess the only time i listen to my head,
is when im trying to convince myself about
something when my heart says other wise

my heart because it has lesser influence from the outside world than my head.

you'll learn that happiness comes from the heart and not from the head as you get older smile.gif

ajlee613 to a certain degree you're just talking about people who are lazy and are just thinking "that's what their heart is telling them" rationally speaking you should know the mind is very strong and at the same time can also turn on you if you really let it.

so to me, i believe in intuition and rational circumstances that would factor into my heart's decision. so yeah in a way i agree with you that there are people out there who think they are listening to their "hearts" but it's really what their mind is telling them to eat that 10 tubs of ice cream and telling them to do something stupid.

usually if you really listen to your heart, it never fails you, might not show results at the time you want it, but it will make the right choice in the end.

i also think people make ignorant decisions conjured up from their heads and blame it on their 'heart' too. so many who think they are listening to their heart were in fact, listening to their head.
