I was just wondering,how many soompiers here can actually do CPR. So,can you? I went for a first aid course last year so yeah,i'm qualified to do CPR and first aid(but unfortunately,i kind of forgot how to do the first aid... >.>)

i'm qualified to do CPR & first aid too but i pretty much forgot everything i learned. sad.gif

I can't do CPR, but I am going to take a class that is taught by my dad to be certified.

I just learned it last year, after heard some of my mom story about drowning n electric it's pretty helpful to know CPR ..

i have to learn it in order to get a lifeguard permit.

at above, were taught 30 compressions, then 2 breaths.. o.o

Yes as a matter of fact I just did it 2weeks ago or so, & they have changed it to 30pushs and 2 breaths.

i took the class in 6th grade and again last year, except i learned more stuff last year(mouth-to-mask, mask-to-mask, CPR on children, adult, & infants) in a Medical Assistant class

i took a class for it and got certified by red cross...
its almost a yr already, im pretty sure i remember how to do it :x
but i never really did it on a real person yet .... but thats a goood thing! :]

Yup I'm certified for the AED and the CPR due to lifeguarding.

I just remember 30 compressions and 2 breaths for a minute? But I heard recently that you don't need to give the 2 breaths anymore...
And finding the point was confusing lol. And I think the rescue mask part is the most difficult.

I liked the AED test way more than the CPR one though.

I learned CPR in First Aid too! And also in lifeguarding so yea...funstuff.

I'm certified to preform CPR biggrin.gif I got a card that says so! But I think it expired like ..either last year or this year.
