So I'm planning on asking my Calculus AB teacher (who's also teaching me BC this year), to write a letter of recommendation for me because she knows me pretty well inside and outside of class.
but the problem is she's not amazing in English. She wasn't born in America, so her English is... yeah.....
Will colleges view the letter from her less favorably if it's not as eloquent, or is the content more important?
Also.. I want to ask her to have someone proofread it.. but idk how to ask politely
tips please? (:

all i can say is
if you want a decent rec,
do not ask her to have it proofread by someone else.
and dont worry
not every teacher who writes a college rec can be 'eloquent' as an english teacher.

Have you actually seen what her writing is like? Even if they seem like they're not so good at a language, some people are a lot better on paper.
I doubt colleges will judge you on the writing skill of your teacher. They'd judge you on yours.
