if you are using blogspot during compose - there should be a button to put pictures?
stated add image?
unless u wanna use Edit HTML than only you have to use codes!

post your pictures at a image hosting site... for example

http://photobucket.com

after uploading they would give you a direct link. Copy it and paste that URL into
<img src="PASTE HERE" />

Alternatively, just click the Insert Image button using the Compose mode (not HTML edit mode) as someone on top has said too.
Hover over the buttons if you can't find it.

once upload - they will prompt you the URL so use that URL..
