Okay guys, I'm the kind of person that do not believe in signs, fate or soulmates. For me those things only exist in movies. But recently I just met this guy and we found out that we have a lot in commons to the points that it's pretty creepy. I've never met someon that I shared so much in common and neither him. My little sister believed that we are soulmates, so did he. But I'm not sure about it.

So here are the fews things we have in commons:

- Five years ago my family moved from this little town called Munka-Ljung to another that called Engelholm. Five years ago his family moved to the same town, Munka-Ljungby and in the same area so we're neighbour you can say. But after a year or so they're moving to Engelholm too.

- We both did go on the same high school, have the same education.

- We both have been in the same karate club, and we have the same teacher but in the different period.

- His ex-girlfriend and I used to be in the same class too.

- We have the same tast when it comes to movies and food.

We have more in commons, but the list would be too long and I'm pretty lazy XDD

It's weird that I've never met him before, but he did remember that he saw me one time, and he even remembered that it was 1 and half years ago and the name of the street he saw me walked past.

So what do you guys think? :0

I believe what I do would create my life, not by destiny.

all purely coincidences. they are only a soulmate if you save his life or he saves yours.

LOl... the things you named are pretty common and I can think of 10 people at the top of my head that have the same class I do and many other classes. When you're in that area together; it's not rare to do the same things. That's like me saying that I go and eat MCdonald near Starbuck, and my friend (Who have my class and goes to my school) eat there also... thus... we're soulmate.

I think when you're "trying" to look for things to have in common; you would. For example, I can say that 2 and 3 have a lot in common. 2 + 1= 3, 3 - 1= 2, 2 and 3 makes 23, 3 and 2 makes 32. If you want to find things in common with someone; it's not hard. I can name things I have in common with you if I wanted to. We go to Soompi, we enjoy Korean entertainment, My sister name have "Mai" in it, stuff like that. And I don't even know you. I'm not trying to bash your "belief", but I just think that what you pointed out is too common.

And to answer your question; no... I don't believe that there's a "soulmate". I believe that there's someone out there who probably share my hobby and interest; but it's just a coincidence.

i wouldn't measure my soulmate based on our similarities but more towards how we can emotionally connect with each other on a level that others cannot connect the same way.

literally to a point where they know how to read each other's emotions, finish each other's sentences, would be a few abstract concepts of what a soulmate can be.

Haha I won't believe in those if i was you.

I had a guy who lived in the same suburb as me, had the same birthday as me, was in the same school, same house colour, was in my class for all of primary (6 years) , you don't even want to hear the rest =="

But yeah, when you think about it there's alot of people in the world who may have the same similarities as you.

The thing is, I don't even know what a soul mate means ROFL

it just happens...
soulmates are a bit overrated because there are tons of people in the world and how about if your soulmate lived somewhere across the world and spoke another language?
it's just a coincidence really

May be even if soul mates thingy existed, it may not apply to yours as what you've mentioned were like too common IMO. Mention few more of those which you told u didn't mention them.

Umm hmm that's tricky. My boyfriend's grandparents were born on the same day, month, and year, at the same hospital, went to the same high school, dated each other then got married, and they've been married happily together for 43 years biggrin.gif
so yeah, maybe yours might be. It happens smile.gif

I personally don't believe in such thing as soulmates. To me those things seem kind of common and or just coincidences..
I know people who have a lot of similarities to me as well.

if i keep bumping into someone coincidently and there's some kind of good vibe,
i'd probably assume god's trying to hook me up? tongue.gif

I don't understand how a series of connections has anything to do with soulmates. I think that the two of you would get along quite well and quite possibly be a good couple, it does at the end of the day depend on the individual's criteria as to what soulmates are.

If you believe that having a series of connections and coincidences are soulmates, then he's your soulmate.
My definition of a soulmate is a person who completes another person (on multiple levels) with complimentary lifestyle and beliefs.
