Do u guys think this is a potentially plausible product to help weight loss??

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/CLICK-HERE-TO-PURCH...idZp1638Q2em122

i have checked it, and it appears that hundreds of ebay users have claimed that it is effective
and these claims are genuine

but its confusing as to how it could work, considering that other pills of different brands are labelled as fake, tricks, fads, etc etc...

but since its such a low price, i thought, y not give it a try?

the only dangers are probably some sort of illness from incorrect usage...

  • just wondering, has anyone ever tried anything like this?
  • what were your results?
  • what is your take on this?

THANKS for your inputs! =) appreciated!

It depends on the brand, but yeah...some of the diet pills do work. There are a lot of fakes floating around, though. Also, some can be very harmful for you. Most work by suppressing your appetite, so without the constant urge to snack, you lose weight pretty quickly.

It's definitely possible but, sometimes you have to be wary of fakes. Anyway, if it seems like it's working for other people than maybe you should give it a try. Just make sure you aren't allergic to anything that's in the pills to be safe.

Weight loss pills do nothing but AID in weight loss.
Meaning if you don't change your lifestyle by exercising
and working out the effects will be minimal at best, if not
nothing. Thermogenics are designed to help you
burn more calories and have more endurance during
work outs. It's not for you to just take it and be
sedentary and suddenly have a sexy body. I haven't
heard much about Thyzine. I would suggest going on
one of the more popular and trusted brands such as
hydroxycut or lipo6. You can easily google and find them.

I don't think its best to use weight loss pills if you don't do it correctly with exercise and eating correctly. I think its best to just exercise w/o the pill. If you need help, go to jenny craig or get a personal trainer.

Agreed. The only FDA approved (unless this has changed) drug for weight loss is Alli, and even then you still have to watch your diet a lot since you can't eat foods high in fat or else they'll go right through, lol.

Just go out and exercise. It's good for your body.

My friend tried them once...
I don't know if they worked or not, but she did have some side effects, basically isomnia. Which put her in a terrible mood all the time. She hated it so much even though she said she lost a few pounds (but this was probably due to her healthier diet) she went off them.
I don't know if this applies to all pills, but either way you're gonna have to go off them eventually and even if you dont have any side effects, you'll just constantly be yo-yo dieting...

Yeah they only aid in weight loss. You don't take them and just lose weight. It's just basically to suppress your appetite, so you would still have to change your lifestyle. Eat healthier and exercise on a routine basis. If you're really considering pills consult a doctor. They also prescribe pills for helping with weight loss, I have a prescription from my doctor. I can honestly say that it has worked for me and helped me balance my eating habits + make me more active(exercise). I have already lost a few pounds in the last week.

They do...

There are thermogens and appetite suppressants. Both have their risks, often used if weight/obesity is more of a health risk than potential side effects. Always best to consult a physician.

There are some thermogens that are off-label use, and if you do not know what you are doing, you could die from overheating of the body (I only know of one that can cause this... literally have to sit in a tub of ice).

Anorectics (appetite suppressants) can make you moody or depressed. Rx only include rimonabant and phentermine.

Exercise, combined with these, will definitely increase the weight loss, relative to exercise alone. In thermogens, you could lose weight without changing exercise/eating habits.

but the thing is, previous and current users of the pills have told me that without changing any other variables in their lives, except starting to use those pills, they had actually lost quite alot, and effortlessly too. this means, without increased excersise, and without healthier food intake. puzzling, isnt it?

why else would they have a guarantee of a refund if it doesnt work?

Flame me if you want, but a 17 year old has no business taking diet pills. If you really want to increase your metabolism -which is what most diet pills are advertised to do, as well as suppressing your appetite- do a research on natural foods that naturally increase your metabolism (e.g., green tea), and increase your intake of it. You're still growing, and your homones are still running wild. This is no time to take a drug that can potentially mess with your hormonal balance.
"But when it ends and while it ends, something comes, after so much rage, persistence, obstinacy, extravagance; something entirely unexpected and touching in its mildness and goodness. With the motif passed through many vicissitudes, which takes leave and so doing becomes itself entirely leave-taking, a parting wave and call, with this D G G occurs a slight change, it experiences a small melodic expansion. After an introductory C, it puts a C sharp before the D. . .and this added C Sharp is the most moving, consolatory, pathetically reconciling thing in the world. It is like having one's hair or cheek stroked, lovingly, understandingly, like a deep and silent farewell look. . . . " (Mann: 55).

This kind of stuff doesn't work and is a waste of money. The only way to healthily lose weight is have a good nutrition and do sports/exercise. Those kind of pills are nothing but placebos, because you take them and feel more confident about losing weight now, since you expect some kind of effect from them, while in fact, they have none. You're just more encouraged to improve your nutrition and exercise more, sometimes unconsciously. People have to realize they can lose weight without those pills as easily as with them and save their money.

Sorry, but that isn't actually true. I know that the HEALTHY way to lose weight is diet and exercise, but there are substances that require no exercise/calorie counting and result in weight loss. Phentermine, for example. I've know people who have tried certain diet pills (researched the heck out of them--didn't exactly go down to the local health store and pick a bottle off the shelves) and lost over 20 pounds...without changing their eating/work out styles at all.

Many, many pills are scams, though, so you're right--they don't work. But saying that none of them work and that they're all placebos is quite inaccurate and ignorant.

Exercise + Nutrition + Rest = You can expect maybe 1-2% assistance from pills like this if you do everything else right. There is diminishing return value though ~ If you aren't already on top of your game in the 3 key areas. You shouldn't expect much.

some diet pills just makes your heart pump much faster and you might end up with a heart attack.
i dont trust those stuff...
i mean, NONE of them are regulated by the FDA nor is it actually effective unless you add diet and exercise. (they all state it in tiny words on the bottom of the commercial or bottle...lol)

agree with ginger on both posts.

you should be wary of pills that claim to 'burn fat' especially by 'raising your metabolism' as they could contain unsafe amounts of caffeine or stimulants, or even steroids.

i'm not saying pills that suppress appetite are safe, either, but there are ones that DO work.
(as in, ur appetite will be reduced, so if u eat less correspondingly, u'll lose weight.)

in the long run though, you'll have to change your eating habits and level of activity.
it might just come down to not drinking sodas and passing up on seconds.

while you are welcome to trust or mistrust diet pills,
you must be quite young or naive to take the FDA at face value.

do you really think that everything approved by the FDA is safe? and that things that aren't are inherently unsafe?
politics, economics, and foreign competition all play a huge role.

you probably also think that the USDA is a completely unbiased organization which makes sure that American-cultivated fruits, vegetables, grains, meats and poultry are all completely safe and cleanly handled before sale to the American public.

Yeah I agree that they aid you on losing weight. I'm personally 5'3 and I weigh between 105-108 lbs. And I use a diet pill-well acutally I wouldn't call it a diet pill because it does so much. It automatically burns 300 calories per pill I take. (i take about 3 a day) but I use it to help maintain my weight since I don't eat healthy so it'll automatically cut about 1000 calories from what i ate that day so I don't develop love handles xDD but I use it in the morning because it gives me a boost of energy from natural stuff like Gurana and Yerba Mate. AND my fav part it helps me maintain stress that i get from school and work x.X =]

Well in general, I don't think diet pills are good for you.
Some scientists were working with this new pill that makes your stomach feel full really easily.
So its not exactly burning calories but it helps control your portions easier.

But I hear diet pills are bad for your kidneys and give terrible side effects...
