Hi guys.. I just recently got an '07 Mustang V6 Coupe and found out afterward how the Mustangs have a problem with their gas tanks...whatever lol

although I have already bought the car, I was wondering if there were any more problems that may have come up with the 05-07 mustangs that you guys might have heard of.
I just want to know for future reference so that I can keep a look out for "weird sounds" and such...cause other than that i do love my car and kinda was hoping to keep it around for awhile sweatingbullets.gif

thanks!

You bought a Ford...the name Ford brings trouble. For example, Detroit Lions, Mazda 626.

Yea, you bought a v6... =p

According to true delta, no issues. I know they had some issues when they first came out with the stereo, but you've got an 07 so you should be fine.

My friend has one with 170k miles on it, you'll be fine. You probably won't want it after you see the new one, =p.

At our VW dealer we let all the owners know if there's a recall.

Go to your dealer and ask if there are any recalls on the car.
The labor is usually free smile.gif

LOL I'm trying hard to resist the urge to join the "you bought a Ford crowd". Having owned an '02 Mustang myself, I find they're decent and low maintenance. No problems for me so far. I can't imagine the newly redesigned Mustangs to be that far off either so I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.
I won't bother since I won't read the rules and they won't accommodate.
