I started college a few weeks ago

Before I started college (during senior year), I really decided, "john tesh love, it only causes problems, etc, etc."
I actually lived a really fun life smile.gif Love was the last thing on the list. I wouldn't feel like "lonely" if I saw a couple whether in the states or during Korea. Having fun was my priority ^^.

Okay, so back to the point of the story. When I started college on the first Saturday of September, it was orientation, so we were introduced to parts of the school, did a little ice breakers to know each other, and have convocation, etc.

At the end of the night, there was this festival kind of thing where freshman gather together, have fun, and meet new friends. I met most of my friends from high school and basically made some new friends. It was really fun, and I had a great day. Around 10, I parted ways with my friends, since there are five campuses, and we all live on different ones (sadly, none that I knew of lived on my campus). Since the festival was around a ten minute walk from my dorm, I decided to walk.

On the way, a korean girl comes up to me, and asks where I live. At first I was thinking, "huh? wtf?" I told her anyways, and I found out we live next to each other (building, not rooms).

We talked a lot before we actually went in. I got to know a bit about her, and vice versa.
I was really john teshing stupid not to ask for her number or msn, but I found her on facebook (I AM NOT A STALKER! =O)

But she doesn't really go on it, it seems.
I think I like her, and yeah...she's not the prettiest but she's decent and a nice person from what I've seen.
Too bad I haven't seen her since because I've been hanging out with my friends + schedules conflict.

Well it seems like you don't know her all to well yet, so just give it some time. Get to know her and make an effort to be her friend. If you like her even more after getting to know her, then go for it. If not, then it's fine. You aren't particularly looking for a girlfriend anyway.

No, you're not a stalker because facebook just shows people from the same networks (i.e. same school) so it's not uncommon.
Add her on facebook, maybe it'll email her saying she has a friend's request and then she'll get on and add you =) and then she'll say "Hey! I know you" or something like that. Then you talk to each other, ask for msn etc. etc. Plus the fact that you guys live partially near each other makes it a bit easier to meet up (i.e. you guys are talking on msn and it's dinner time, you guys could get dinner together). just go for it. It wouldn't hurt to try. College is the best way to meet your potential future life partner.

In college, you dont want to build a relationship. You need to focus on getting pleasure then studying for exams.

Ahh, I'm in somewhat of the same situation. >< I was like, 'love sucks, no need for it' all throughout senior year and I was dead set on being single freshmen year. And then bam, he walks into my life (we went bowling together for a rush event.) I know how you feel. =/
