Newbie Questions About Laptop

I've been switching on the charger everytime while using the laptop.
One of my friend said that the battery will die faster. So don't put in the battery while using the computer if you're charging.
Is it true? O_O

kinda, but the difference between leaving the battery in and taking it out would only be 2-4 months longer.

I took out the battery. And now i'm charging the laptop.
Nothing's gonna happen right. O_O
