the sooner the better?
but if you take it the first time and plan on taking another one...and you're not going to study or w/e...
and just take the test, it's best not to take it again...cus basically..you'll have the same results if you don't want to improve them..

it depends whether you want to ED or EA anywhere. if you're planning to EA or ED, you can take the november SAT as well, since it'll arrive on time for the deadline. But don't take my word on it for every school; do your research on whichever school you're interested.
If you decide to do regular admissions, i hear that the december SAT is easier, bc its mostly full of seniors who didn't really study and its their last minute thing, so the curve will be really high. Again, that depends how much you studied as well.

you should take the one in november if you want to go to a UC or a CSU because their applications
are due november 30th, so you would want the novemeber results for the applications, but
if you are going for any other college you should def. take it in december because the curve is the biggest, since
all the not very smart seniors are taking it then.

there's really a curve?
even for juniors taking the SAT?
i thought colleges only look at your raw score ....
