I was wondering if anyone knows a program
where I can replace the audio in a video (.avi or .wmv)?

Tried VirtualDub already, but sadly, it wouldn't open
'cause the .avi video was DivX >___<

<3 help please ~

That's very strange, are you sure you got the normal VirtualDub? Because the point of virtual dub was to edit basic AVI files and should handle Divx and Xvid just fine. I think Virtual Dub Mod was designed for MPG files so im kinda confused about how it won't actually work.

^ I should have the right one? VirutalDub 1.8.6?
Thanks for the help :]

The message I got was:

QUOTE
Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'XVID' (unknown)

VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable.

do you have ffdshow installed? You can use that or a bunch of other codecs which can open the divx/xvid files. I assume you don't really have it installed and you use like VLC or Gomplayer to play where it doesn't need codecs

For avi, i use AVI Mux. It's really simple and works. I use it to replace MV audio ^^;
