Hi, I moved into my apartment at UCSC with a router because the apartments doesn't offer wireless connection. Unfortunately, The internet connection here at UCSC requires a verification of an anti virus using Clean Access Agent from Cisco Systems, which makes things more difficult. The router i am using is an AirLink101. I was wondering if there are any UCSC or other UC students that has successfully set up a wireless router and got it working in their apartments. It connected to the router, and the problem was that the clean access agent didnt allow me to log in. But recently, the router has been acting up and its wouldnt letting me connect to the router WAN or LAN: the wireless status on the router is on, but my computer doesn't find it, and when i try to connect via LAN the computer recognizes there is a network but it doesn't let me access the router config.(the 192.168. properties) or the internet. If theres anyone who can offer any information on how to setup the router on college internet network, it would be greatly appreciated.
