What are you trying to do? Build up credit, or actually can't pay for stuff?

If you're trying to build up credit -- any major bank is fine, just be sure to make the monthly payments OR once you buy something, pay it off immediately and you'll start developing credit. Which is a good thing down the road if you want to buy a car, house or anything major.

If you're trying to pay off stuff, I'm not too sure on what bank you should go with. I have Wells Fargo and Navy Federal Credit Union. They're both really good when it comes to rates I think.

As my dad would say, don't get a credit card.

I have capital one and let me tell you it sucks. It takes them about two weeks to update your transactions. I can only make about two or three payments per month online. I was hoping it would get better as time goes by but it never did. The credit limit they gave me was only 500 which is pretty low. Had this card for about one year and didnt like it. Only reason I still have it is because it is because it was customize with my picture.

I am usin my sears card right now wit a credit limit of 10,000 and all the transactions are updated online quickly and i can make unlimited
payments a mont
Make sure wen you apply for your card tat it as a low apr rate and no interest
Try to pay all your credit bills off asap

I would say go with American Express. Best card out there. You get cash back!
Beats VISA anyday... but I think you need a minimum annual income of $15K?

I would say...ARE YOU OUTTA YOUR MIND? Credit card is the master of all evil..unless your parents own a huge pay check.

well i mean you gotta start somewhere.
i'm with bank of america and signed up for a student credit card.
(they won't let you start off with a real one until you build up some credit.)

i'm not going to lie, it's tempting to spend more than you can pay off, so be careful.

I'm a million pieces, figure me out.

bank of america visa, student acct.

they won't charge you interest on late payment for your 1st year. plus they send you email notices when it's time to repay your balance.

no rewards or anything like that, but overall it's pretty hassle-free and easy to manage.

and for those who aren't using credit cards... good luck later in life! using a credit card responsibly is not difficult at all.

get a chase visa if you're trying to build your credit. they'll usually approve you quite easily and they'll start you off with a small credit limit of $500. they'll increase your limit if you pay on time. they have a really sweet rewards program too. i use my credit card for everything (even the small purchases) just to capitalize on the points. i use auto billpay and linked my checking account to my credit card so there's no way ill miss a payment.

you just have to use the credit card responsibility and know whats in your checking account; if not, theyll charge you an overdraft fee for not having the funds in your checking account when bill time rolls around. a credit cards really nice to have. ive had my chase visa for about 2 years, and ive earned about $200 worth of free gas cards <3
TOPS STARTING FROM $2
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
