this has been in my head for a long time.
i've never gone after a guy before... it's not that i'm afraid of rejection but then in my opinion, i think a girl that goes after a guy has no pride. sweatingbullets.gif

i've came across guys who are afraid of making the first move..
so my advice is.. GO!! TELL HER; be a gentlemen.

I just wanna spread my wings & fly away -
Would you fly with me?

Doesn't matter.
If you want something, get off your ass and take initiative. Not everything is going to come to you.

i haven't really liked a guy so much as to actually chase after him.
only after he's shown some interest in me do i actually begin to take initiative lol.
but girls who chase guys? i don't think they don't have any pride or anything.
just really confident lol.

x_x' it'd be nice if both did it?

but meh. o_O' screw chasing, let's get to the point

and start some fun. ;]

_ pride .. LOl... i know the burdens of it too well.

lately i've learnt that

H umility is a virtue

. and yeah. i'm startin' to hate the times i didn't chased/asked out a girl i liked up front like a man...

_ girls shouldn't chase. though. they should just do what they want.
guys.. yeah... we should do what we want too..

I’ve nothing against going after a guy. But sometimes I’m afraid that the guy will find me irritating. Unless you’re really confident about yourself, if not don’t even try because you’ll end up being really heartbroken. While if you have confidence, most likely you will succeed or you don’t even give a damn and think that he’s so stupid for rejecting you.
That’s how I feel. :]

its fine to go after a guy in the sense that you make sure he knows youre interested and stuff... but honestly i think the guy should do the leading and kinda chase the girl. i mean theres no definite right or wrong answer but from my personal experience and my friends', things have worked out better that way.

wtf, a girl that goes after a guy and makes the first move shows she's willing to go after what she wants, and not waste her time and wait around.

idk, i've done quite a bit of chasing, but it hasn't worked out my way lol. it took SOOOO MUCH courage for me to actually tell these dudes i like them. so i know how guys feel when they have to do the chasing, so i think more girls should go after the guys. i mean, one of my friends won't even TALK to a guy who she likes because she feels that'll make her look slutty...wtf???!?!? More girls should NOT be afraid to show their interested and show signs they like the guys. As for me though, i've been rejected tooooooo many times to do the chasing anymore. maybe when i find a guy more worth it for me then will i do some more chasing lol.

It's hard both ways no matter what. I'm sure you will earn more respect from the guy if you make the first move, even though he might not like you to begin with. Personality and confidence are good virtues.

Or you're just being a coward and afraid of doing it yourself, so you attempt to blame others instead of taking responsibility and doing it. I find girls who take the initiative much more prideful than the ones that run and hide. In fact, they have enough pride to get over the stereotype that girls shouldn't do the asking. Also, what if the guy has NO idea the girl exists? The girl shouldn't lay around moping about it, she should get off her ass and go.

Haha I was thinking about that too!
Because I wanted to ask my guy friend to homecoming.
But I thought it'd be all awkward so I didn't.
I don't regret it though lol.

I have a question :>

Try to think of it from a guy's perspective (or if a guy answered this, that would be even better!) ... if a girl 'chased' after you or confessed to you, what would YOU think? Would you think she was pathetic / odd / brave / etc. ? would you have a good or bad impression of the girl?

well, it kind of depends. but as a girl i've confessed before. but i've been rejected (he ended up liking my best friend), but you have to be able to accept whatever happens. (:
