Yep like it says does anyone have good acne scar removers

that is not bio oil or any other greasy thing that will not make the acne worse.

Maybe like a face mask or something.

I mean I hate seeing the scars on my cheeks and I NEED to get rid of them!

So I am asking you guys for help please and thank you1!!

if you dont mind the cost why dont you try microdermabrasion...it works really well in getting rid of acne scars and in comparison to using medicine that could take months for improvement....it starts to fade with your first treatment and you get it every 2 weeks after that for about 5 treatments...redness and scars go away with the first treatment btw..

Nelly: Did you ever use this product before? and if you did how long did it take, because I might get this mederma cream.

Pinkle2525: Ha! Thanks for the suggestion but i don't want to waste that much money incase I get more scars, after the treatment, but thanks anyways!

Well my sister had bad acne scars and she used skin culture http://www.skincultu...m/skinpeel.html

The product is basically an at home chemical peel. My sister said it worked but she preferred microdermabrasion.

But with this product you will need like two to three weeks to be alone because your skin peels like crazy ohmy.gif ...
so if your in like high school or maybe college I'd definitely wait until summer break came along.

My sister and I have different skin and I've never tried the product myself but what is working for me at the moment is Biore ice cleanser http://www.biore.com/usa/products/productI...asp?productId=2
and a face brush http://store.hello-gorgeous.net/facebrush....channelid=FROOG
both of which you can find at Walmart. I usually lightly scrub my face every other day and moisturize right after.

i use a 12% glycolic alpha hydroxy acid souffle. found it at walgreens or something. its a chemical exfoliant that evens out skin tone. the acids remove a layer of dead skin cells and lighten pigmentation. i guess a better version of this would be a chemical peel, which go deeper into the epidermis.

Aloe Vera Gel.
Honestly, I've never tried it before.
But I heard aloe works wonders.

for a low-budget preventative fix for pimple scarring:
after you pop a zit, dab a little Neosporin on that sucker before bed for a couple of nights

works like a charm ;D

also my friend uses this Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel for pre-existing acne scars. She swears by it.
I'm pretty sure you can get that at any drugstore too.

Vitamin E.
I haven't tried bio-oil but some people say it works. I think it depends on your own skin composition.

It depends on the person cause I've used it before and didn't see any results .

thank you for starting this topic.

I am considering doing a chemical peel, because I have pretty bad acne scars right now (on sides of my face, its definitely noticeable) but I read on websites that chemical peels are NOT recommended for Asian skin because after the peel, when new skin grows back, there is a tendency for Asians to get hyperpigmentation (brown spots), blotchy skin, or even blisters (!!!) because Asian skin is super sensitive. I read that all that can happen even if you follow all of the doctor's directions. I also read that exposure to a little sun can cause brown/black spots, even if you are wearing SPF. The doctor who recommended me to get it done is Caucasian, and I feel that most of his patients are Caucasians, so I don't know if this doctor has actually treated Asian patients before...

Have any of you guys had a chemical peel done, and would like to share your experience....? I am so lost as to what to do, I don't know who I can turn to...I feel if I ask the doctor, he'll say "sure, its no problem for Asians" since he wants to make money....I really want a fix for my scars, its limiting me so much these days, I havent been going out with people, I just want to stay in my room, I am losing my self confidence. Any help from you great folks would be appreciated so much...thank you...

What type of scars do you have? Pitted scars or superficial scars (hyperpigmentations, etc). If you have superficial scars, I suggest Retin-A micro...anything that peels you, and this peels you pretty well/quick. For pitted scars, I can only think of chemical peels...

I've actually had a chemical peel done. It is very expensive, it actually cost me around $1000 or so since I had to buy the products that was recommended with it butI was desperate since I had a lot of baby acne that left a lot of scarring and the dermatologist advised me it would stop my acne since all the bacteria would be exfoliated. My skin peeled drastically for 2-3 weeks after that and it did take away all the scars but after wards I continued to still have acne and developed scars again.

What actually worked for me was the aspirin mask. It's cheap and very effective for myself. I typically mixed in "tea tree oil" which can be found at most Walgreens and the more you mix, the more your skin will peel off similar to a chemical peel but it's a lot cheaper and I rarely get acne now. When I do break out and I tend to mess with it causing scars, I'll do an aspirin mask so that my skin will start peeling and in a couple of weeks, the scar will be gone. I believe there is already a thread for that.

Good luck.

I have hyperpigmentation scars....I popped my pimples to get the dirty stuff out, so that made an open wound on my skin. A scab later on formed, and I was careful not to pick at the scab and just let it fall off naturally...but even with that, there is still a brown mark...

I have a lot of these on the sides of my face (I have been having quite bad acne, maybe cuz of the stress from professional school) I am taking antibiotics too for my face too, to get all the bacteria out, but as a result of getting all the bacteria out, I am now left with a lot of brown marks on my face.

I tried to search online for an Asian dermatologist here in Chicago, but I cant seem to be having any luck. I feel that an Asian dermatologist would probably have the most experience with Asian skin...but I can't seem to find one online...I wish there is a number I could call to ask for this kind of information...

My skin is really sensitive too...I can't wear make-up because it would make me break out...so I am worried that my skin would hyper-react to the chemical peel by forming blisters or something even worse...But I am pretty desperate right now, the scars are really obvious, and I can't wear make-up to cover them up either...I am definitely willing to spend the money if it will help with the scars, I am just afraid that the chemical peel might ruin or make my skin worse than it is now...
