What's The Difference Between A Pre-med Major And Nursing? Which should I major in if I want to be a pediatrician/neonatologist?

well nursing is completely different from pre-med. Nurses have wayyy less schooling than doctors. There are the RNs, which is more schooling than the LPN, which can take only 18 months to accomplish. Doctors on the other hand, need 4 years of a university degree, 4 years of medical school, and then years of internship, and residency.
If you want to be a doctor, obviously the pre-med route is for you.

nurses that have a Bachelor's degree go thru 2 years of study and then the next 2 years are hands-on and more nurse-related (like learning to chart and stuff)
doctors go thru 4 years of pre-med or get a BS degree..then there's graduate school (aka med school) 2 years of study, 2 years of hands-on stuff..sorta..
then go thru residency.to be a pediatrician, u have to go back to school after residency. find out more at bls.gov (us dept. of labor)
