Friends as in, the people you hang out with. Obviously we all know people of all races. But do you hang out with mostly Asian people?

I hang out with a lot of asian people. Or people of the same nationality ( vietnamese | chinese ). I guess it's a different bond with asian people than with 'non asian' people since you can pull asian jokes and do asian things. But then again, are we becoming more segregated just to hangout with people who are alike? Moreover, old school asian parents want us to marry an asian person, and are usually super super asian forward, so is it the way we are raised up that makes us want to be around them so much? After realizing this, I've created an 'asian' friend circle and a 'non asian' friend circle. :]

Just a thought. haha

oh, and sorry if my poll options are too vague/similar to each other. ( yes = all of them are asian, most = most of them.. etc etc)

Most of my friends are Asian...but I'm not. I have other non-Asian friends who're white, Hispanic, and black, but the majority of my friends at school right now are Chinese with a couple Koreans.

I've noticed that if you stick a couple of strangers together (let's say one Asian and two Caucasians),
the Caucasians will most likely initiate a conversation with each other first (and vice versa...asians will talk to asians first).
I'm not saying that Caucasians don't talk to Asians, I just think that we're all naturally more comfortable with people who are the same nationality.

Irl friends? Nope. E-net friends? Well, it's 50% Asian and 50% Non-Asian for that.
There are really just a few Asian people living at my place, and I hardly meet Asian people tbh. So, most of my friends are either mixed or Non-Asian.

Being asian, I have a lot of asian friends, but my closest friends are white. I just don't share the same humor/taste in music/personality to click well with my asian friends. I want to spend more time in my asian friend circles, but it's a little tough.

I only know a few asians irl around my area, so no, most of them are caucasian

yes, everyone that I hang out with are all asain. its not like I don't want to hang ouut with other race but to me, I think its arkward. probably because I haven't done so in a while. but when I was little I hung out with other race but as I grew older I guess I got more asain friends.
