What To Pack In A Care Package for my friends away at college?

I want to send care packages to some of my friends who are away at college, but I'm running a bit low on ideas. So far this is what I have: candy/snacks, handwritten letter/card, CD mixes, home-baked cookies, magazines, and vitamin c drops.

Any other things I could possibly add?

School supplies like pens/pencils, notebooks, highlighters...stuff like that.

Food is always an issue in college so mabe some instant stuff? Like packaged instant coffee mixes that are ready to go with hot water and microwaveable rice =D!
