If You Could Start Your Own Magazine...

Going into newsstands, I feel like 90% of the magazines there are branches of the same few themes...fashion, health, music, beauty, celebrity, etc. It gets a little boring.
So if you had the chance to start your own magazine, what would it be and why?

It would SO be on Games+Jrock and loads of underground stuff which people don't know much about. (:
I'd do it on Games+Jrock+Stuff people don't know much about it cause, magazine about games and japanese rock is just awesome, but then bringing things people don't know into the light, would be really interesting.

ask me something!

artistic magazine... any form of creative production such as poetry, spoken work, ect. I'd also include things pertaining to mom and pop shops and non commercialized organizations/groups/companies. In a world where everything is becoming more and more mass produced, remembering how everything started and reminding people of the beauty of things that are still very much personal can be a positive force in comparison to mass production companies. Besides, these little personal things are hard to find nowadays.

It would be about showcasing new writing talent and serializing their stories. There may be magazines like that out right now, but none that I can really find out in the open. I don't know though, magazines seem boring to me these days. Even the Entertainment Weekly ones.

mine would definitely be about Jrock and Kpop and probably some stuff about Asian dramas too xD and if i was able to, about visual kei because the style is just awesome xD

It would be about anything i felt about publishing at that moment in time, so it would probably vary each issue. Maybe some type of current affairs magazine? I could see it being about fashion, arts and music mostly though.
