Pot Roast? american classic dish

has anyone here ever tried pot roast?

i have never had it in my life and always wanted to try it..

supposedly its really good.

anyways, heres some pictures...

any suggestions on how to cook the dish? smile.gif

I love pot roast, especiallly when the meat is fork tender. I don't cook mine in the oven but opt to use a slowcooker. It's more convenient for me. Here's the recipe I follow smile.gif

Oh geez...I love pot roast...with mashed/boiled potatoes and fresh, crispy green beans. I am definitely missing American-style pot roast in Korea.

Green beans does go great with pot roast. Not to mention, I always eat mine with a side of corn sweatingbullets.gif

Making this in a slowcooker is so simple! There are a lot of pot roast recipes online, just google them!

hehe! That's why I make it in a slowcooker. You can basically throw all the ingredients together in the slowcooker. I've tried both methods, cooking it in the oven and in a slowcooker. I think the pot roast was more moist and tender using the crockpot method. laugh.gif
