why many (a lot of) people think/say that dolls are creepy?!
i would like to know why...

do all dolls look creepy just because of horror movies like chucky doll/child play ?
or, is it just because you're scared that you might be killed by dolls while you're sleeping?

Dolls are scary because they look like people, but they aren't.
That's why those super-realistic androids are scary as well.

I think those Japanese dolls are beautiful, but scary at the same time. Their eyes look so... sad it feels like there is a soul trapped in there wanting to get out and go on to the other world.

i used to love dolls until i watched scary movies. lol i had a porcelain doll in my room. yea...i decided to pack her up one night and told my mom to get rid of her. she's been in the attic for a LONG time....

haha i was scared of dolls ever since me and my family watched a horror movie in Taiwan which involved dolls xD it was soo scary >< and i was really young then as well

i have 40+ porcelain dolls and i love them...

and stories you hear
i know that i never played with barbie ever again after watching chucky
dancingbymyself is right cuz they do look like people. empty husks
with no soul. oh here's a tip if u find ur doll creepy or somewhat possessed
just poke their eyes out and the evil soul in it just leaves. why? cuz eyes
are windows to the soul. xD i'm totally not helping. ok back on topic,
bascially they just stand there and feel like they're staring at you wherever you go
i mean imagine having a doll sit there and stare at you while u undress. x.x

i think it is bc of movies like chucky..at least for me. i get all paranoid and think they moved or shifted their eyes while i wasnt looking @_@
