OK, anyone who has traveled to Italy knows they have this incredible mind blowing dessert there called Gelato. I happen to live in America, which makes it very difficult to get access to Gelato. Yes, I know there are plenty of places in America that
claim to sell Gelato, but it is so far from the real thing that you only ever feel heartache when eating it - because it is such a defamation upon the name.
Well, I'm craving Gelato and am going to attempt to make some tonight. I have my ice cream maker lined up and ready to go, and a recipe that claims to be the real deal... but, before I go wasting my time on this unproven recipe, I'm curious if anyone here has a recipe for Gelato that has been tested and shown itself to be the real deal?
Also, if you've made Gelato before, I welcome any tips or advice.
