which one is better, dsc-t700 or dsc-t500?
they are both the same price
and what are the pros and cons of each?
hows the touch screen technology on these?

Well, the two cameras are nearly identical. Here are the specs for both:
DSC-t500
DSC-t700
I only skimmed through the specs but here are the differences I picked out right away:
The t500 has a better optical zoom (5x versus 4x).
The burst mode on the t700 is slightly better (1.6 fps versus 1.4 fps).
Yup, very minor. I'd go with the t700 though since it generally has better reviews online. Plus it's newer.
