Do your parents enforce you to have a clean, neat and tidy room???

Why must girls then have tidy room??

Isnt it normal for your room floor to be a little messy after you study?

I just don't understand why my dad is SOOOOOO irritating sometimes for keep asking me to clean up and scold me for that...

Well messiness indicate lack of organisation and gives an impression of being unkempt.


Anyway I would say I'm pretty tidy compared to most ppl I know, however since my parents are neat freaks, they expect my room to be spotless and absolutely in order every second of every day. Good thing I don't live with them now lol.

my parents always screw at me for not keeping my room tidy! its always in a mess and i just can never be asked to tidy it! but they do force me to completely tidy it like once a month! its a pain in the ass cuz its my room not theirs and if i want it messy, i shud be allowed to have it messy!

not all girls rooms are tidy... i don't have anything on my floor atm but on my drawers and my bed there's quite a bit of stuff and on the other hand my brother has all this crap on his floor and I'M the one who has to clean everything <__<

It's not DISORGANIZED, I know where everything is.
But when my parents come in, they won't stfu until I make motions to actually start cleaning it. (when they leave I stop. xD)

I am a girl and my room is never clean. Too clean irritates me since the mess adds color to my room LOL

I have a puddle of papers on the floor from school, and as usual, I have clothes laying around, as well as random stuff on my desk and my bed.

Whenever my mom complains, I tell her it's not like I make a mess throughout the house. I only make my room messy, so she doesn't need to worry.

=) I do need to clean sometime soon.. or at least pick up the papers, organize my clothes and put some random stuff away.

I should learn to keep things off the floor since there have been mornings where I will step on a textbook or the whole puncher.

My mom doesn't like coming into my room since she thinks it's like an obstacle course. But hey, I cleared most of the floor away for her to walk in on =P

they say it smells, its not a lady's room, and it looks like a dog/puppy's playground.

i can never keep my room kept for a week or so..
first it starts off with no room to put my clothes basket in so i leave it on the ground, then comes my bedspread, blnkets, etc, falling off the bed and onto the ground, and finally the countless plastic bags just laying around.. and it just accumulates from then on.

Even if I clean and clean, they always come back to its place so it's no use in cleaning.

I said that and my mom yelled at me. She even said that my room smell's like the boy's bathroom (how does she know what it smells like?). Well, at least I don't put pile of trashes in my room and throw dirty socks all over the place like my brother would. But whatever. My mom still compains at me about my room and starts talking to me about 'how your sister room is so clean and neat'. D:

I'll clean up once in a while, but then it gets messy again.
Right now, i think my room is pretty clean. Its not at its WORST but its clean.
My mother always says that i'm so unorganized, but whatevahh!
I KNOW where everything is in my room...its my way of being organized. =D

There's no point in cleaning my room because it slowly becomes messy again.
My dad doesn't care but my mom's always on me about it.
She sometimes gets fed up and will try to clean my room but I won't let her.
I told her it's an organized mess; which it really is. I know where everything is xD
