I applied to Rutgers University on November 19, 2005. This boy at my school applied there also, about 1-2 weeks after me. *Sidenote: He lives literally 5 minutes away from me.

Well, he just got his acceptance letter in the mail today..

So, what does that mean for me? Did I get rejected? Because listen to this: his grades went down each year. mine went up each year. my sats suck, his are ok.

?? i don't know, what do you guys think?

that is a true statement, but unless you're abosoloutly horrid, and they can't accept you under any circumstances, you won't get your rejections the same time others get their acceptances...

Yah...my friend got his acceptance letter from UT in like 2 weeks, while my friend who lives down the street has been waiting 3+ weeks. Don't worry girl.

It's fine. They probably got to your application later~there's tons of steps in the processing that we don't know about that could account for the difference and if you were rejected, they'd still send you a letter.
