Hmm, just wondering, which would you prefer your partner to possess?

Case 1:
They're naturally good looking but they don't take the effort to get dressed up. As in they don't dress well at all, they don't make an effort to look good.

Case 2:
They're average looking but they've got a good hairstyle, good fashion sense and they make a huge effort to look good. So these people look better from afar I guess?

Haha, so if you had to choose between the two, which one would you pick?

On a side note...this site has such cute videos lol. They're tutorials on how to cuddle, how to do relationship-related things^^''

Well I do show my affection through buying gifts. I'll buy him some nice shirts and tell him that he looks sexy in it.

#2: First of all, it takes real intelligence to know how to dress yourself and come to terms with the reality of your own proportions. How a woman dresses and carries herself can frequently be an indicator of her awareness of her own body. It may just be because I have a background in graphic design, but I tend to deconstruct all images to their compositional parts. When I look at someone down the street, I pay attention to what their clothes are doing to their bodies and whether or not they know it. A really smart woman will know when a seam placement cuts the length of her body in half. A woman who is just swimming with whatever everyone else is wearing will usually not. There's absolutely no information about the personalities of these two different types of women, so I can only judge what kind of personalities each woman has by how they present themselves. As far as I have observed, women who understand which clothes look good on their bodies are women who understand their bodies and--to some extent--the elements of composition that go into good dressing. They are usually women who understand that the world is a social place and, to get ahead, you need to look like you take care of yourself. For the other option: looks fade with time--the ability to figure out what looks good on your body does not.

A bit of both. Call me greedy, but I want a girl who can look fantastic in her pyjamas, but at the same time has good knowledge of style/products and knows how to make herself look amazing when we need to.

Natural beauty > average dolled-up

I admire someone with a good sense of fashion, but seeing a girl that looks good without make-up has undeniable appeal to me

if they had the EXACT same personality...

#2. I admire people who work hard to get to where they are, and while this is about appearance and looks...i still apply the same principle. Not saying natural beauties are bad..but, they have their looks handed to them but the one who learns to take care of themself and establish a good image for themselves is more admirable in my eyes.

#1 for me. As long as they have good hygiene.

I'd rather a guy not be that into their looks and style, casual clothes are good like maybe jeans and a tee. Stylish guys actually turn me off. Scruffy and good-looking does it for me.

-nods-

i find it scary when i see beauty covered in make up.

+ i wouldn't want a girl who depends on fashion or make up. [....now how many girls read that and said 'omg. but i depend on it! . -sigh- ]

if they find fashion fun and an interest, then yeah. i'm cool with that.

_ but meh. there's that 'x factor' too. :3

no matter how good looking somebody is if they don't make an effort to look nice or take care of themselves then that shows their personality. I want somebody who always tries...not lazy

Number #1 as long as aren't gross with bad hygiene. I am not really into guys that are very stylish but, dress very simple like t-shirt and jeans because that's the way I am too. Since I am not exactly a fashionable person I don't want to feel like I have to dress up also. Anyway, I think it's kind of cute and endearing if they naturally look good and don't care too much about appearance and how they dress.

i guess i'll be loving my self for a long long time.

A guy who dressed bad with a super handsome face annoys me LOL. Mostly because my sister is like that, she's pretty but she lacks how to dress and make up ==" And she makes no effort in putting her long hair down. It's annoying seeing pretty people make no use of their beauty ROFL

So #2
