when school had winter vacation.
i first had a huge pimple on my forehead.
i thought it was only a pimple so i just bothered it.
and then i had another one a bit above my chest.
and i bothered that one too (now there's a little scar left behind).
and i started feeling really dizzy this one day.
and i felt like i had gotten more pimples around my neck.
so i told my sister,
so she checked my back,
and BAM, when i look in the mirror,
my entire upper back was COVERED with red dots.
it was NOT a pretty sight. ):
i remember just staying in the attic, alone
most of my days and nights.
watching a gazillion movies, while eating soup.
i feel like showering were the hardest times for me,
just looking at my body, disgusted me.
i always used to go to my dad and cry because i looked so "ugly"
the only pros to this was that i lost some weight during the time.
since it was really hard for me to eat.
i starved a few days here and there because i had no apetite at all.
i felt too weak to chew and swallow
i have to say, it was one of the hardest 4weeks of my life.
and when i was all better and went to school, this boy whom i sat next to, didn't want to sit next to me because he still thought i had chicken pox. ):
gawd, that little kool-aid.
so yeah, Chicken Pox just sucked.
what are your stories?

but, funny story.
in second grade, most of my friends were out due to chicken pox.
well, i thought it was called chicken "box"
and i used to fight with my mom saying i wanted it. why?
bc i thought you skipped school for a day or two to go work at the boston market
and eat chicken all day.
ahh, poor little innocent me.
anywho, i just hope that the vaccination will work for life
cause if i get it now, its gonna be hell... and it won't be called chicken pox but shingles..
::shivers::

Which means I missed 10 days of school!!!!!!!!!!!!
I couldn't even wash my hair or wear my contact lenses cause I had the most on my face. Luckily, I didn't have any scars on my face except some on the arms and body.

I don't even remember having chicken pox. I had it before I even turned one.Thats why if you look closely on my face there are these random dent-like things around them and there's a circle-like dot next to my eye. It makes me feel deformed. D: IHATEYOUCHICKENPOX. But yeah, my mom said that since I would bite everything and often attempt to scratch myself with my nails that weren't even that long. I would also stick my hand in my mouth as an attempt to scratch it with teeth that weren't even there.
I was a creepy baby. :S

My mom found it, actually.
And started freaking out.
There was one near my eye, and I remember always scratching it because it was itchy, and now there's a scar. My glasses cover it, but you can see it when I take my glasses off.
I actually don't remember it that well though, because it was like 12 years ago.

My family and I were at a theme park and they had a stage where they did like little shows from time to time. When there wasn't any shows, they would let people go up there and try on the costumes and just make complete fools of themselves with no audience. My cousins and I decided to go up there and try it out. I wanted a certain costume, but my cousin got it first. There was only a chicken costume left so I wore that and we messed around a little bit. Afterwards, my skin felt a little itchy, but I thought nothing of it since I was just in a full-body costume. I broke out in chicken pox later that night. Oh, the irony! hahaha
I remember that I was so mad at my parents for the longest time because they still made me do ballet when I was covered in chicken pox and calamine lotion. I was completely pink since I was wearing a pink leotard, pink tutu and covered in pink calamine lotion haha

i didnt itch or anything.
the spots barely showed, and i went to school w/o knowing i had the pox. mom didnt know either.
my friend asked me why i was spotted
and i asked the teacher why too.
then i was sent home. LOLLLL
after reading all your stories i wonder to myself how come my experience wasnt nearly as bad?!
now i wonder if that was even chicken pox i had.
since my spots were really vague and i didnt itch.
i didnt miss school for more than 2 days. o___o lol.
either i was already vaccinated?
or..i never got it?
or..maybe im just over-analyzing something.

If you haven't gotten it yet and you're 13 or younger I suggest you 1. get the vaccine 2. go find a child with chicken pox and tell them to lick you! OR.. 3. avoid chicken pox at all costs (good luck with this one!)

I think if you're at 13 and haven't had the chicken pox yet, it would possible that it'd be too dangerous to get chicken pox. After 13 for all yall just get the vaccine ... since if you want to work / volunteer at a hospital you need to make sure you've had pox or vaccine.
