so i'm applying to upenn and i can't seem to write the 2nd essay...can anyone give me ideas?
Your intellectual abilities, your sense of imagination and your creativity are important to us. With this in mind, please respond to one of the following three requests.
(1) You have just completed your 300-page autobiography. Please submit page 217.
(2) First experiences can be defining. Cite a first experience that you have had and explain its impact on you.
(3) Recall an occasion when you took a risk that you now know was the right thing to do.

i was thinking of going with the first q but i don't know how to be creative...sadly i'm a horrible writer...please help me!

Second essay? For example, if I were writing that topic, I could write about my first book, how it drove me to love reading, and how I learned various lessons from it. My first book was about a clever rabbit who used smarts to outwit animals larger than him - so I could talk about how that affected my mindset in learning or something.

It can really be about anything - maybe your first lego set that made you want to be an architect/engineer, etc.

Personally, I chose the 1st question, because I can recycle my other college essays for it

First essay hands down looks the most easiest and funnest essay. Put a theme to your autobiography. If you're a cynical person, talk about something cynical in your life thats around page 200's. If you're a comical person, make something funny.

Best advice I would give out is make a cliff hanger,, something that would intrigue the reader.

the first one is easy.. lol i had to do that essay sophomore year for english class O_O... all you have to do is write something abt urself basically...something interesting to the reader...... something that will happen later in life since its page 217/300
