hi there smile.gif.
yeah, so now that schools started, the pressures on, and ive realized that ive been packing on some pounds somewhat unconsciously. its not too bad right now, but everyones been telling me that i've gotten "chubbier", but i dont really understand it. due to my schedule, im running up and down the stairs all day, drinking lots and lots of water, running a lot in track and working out in gym, but im still managing to gain weight! i really want to stay fit like i was over the summer, but i have no idea whats going on. can i get some advice on keeping a steady weight and a healthy, toned body? smile.gif thanks<3

p.s: i thought it was sort of weird, cause a lot of kids LOSE weight in school, cause of the pressure and all...

That happened to me during the first six weeks of school because I was so stressed out in my classes and my grades. I just started gaining weight and even when I tried cutting back what I was eating and working out regularly, I still felt really heavy. I gained like four-five pounds within a month. I dropped those classes and I have nothing to stress me out anymore and I'm back to my regular size.

Is school bothering you? It could be that..

I'd say learn to count calories. Make sure you're not
eating excess everyday.

This is what has happened to me, I literally never have the strength or time to workout anymore
because APWH take sup over your life with so many homework, I am not kidding. I am trying hard
to going back to my old routine, jogging /intense running atleast 6times a week. I have attempted to before but
it wasnt the same, I was more exhausted as If I ws back to Day 1 two years ago , just starting to jog.

what is raw muscle? i never knew muscle could be ripened.
If you mean get both legs proportionate, you just have to try
and work the smaller looking one more. If you mean get rid of the muscle
then just stop training your legs and the muscle fibres will become smaller.

Can I ask you guys for some advice? I'm on vacation now so like summer, I have enough time to eat healthily and exercise so I'm somewhat fit and stronger. But when the new semester comes, I still try to plan a healthy diet but because I have to stay up late to finish a big amount of homework, I need energy so I MUST eat or I'll feel really tired. T______T But eating after 8 p.m is not good and makes me gain more weight so what should I do? Does eating fruits or a bowl of salad make any difference? O.o

^ yes it does. Just do your calorie count and have the healthy food like salad and fruit.

Actually, because of all the stress and pressure a lot of ppl tend to eat more, esp of food containing fat and sugar, thus they gain weight.

You gotta eat your meals regularly, keep everything proportioned, because too much of something always ruins it, even if it's something healthy.
If you have a balanced diet and exercise regularly (cardio and all that stuff) you'll lose weight definitely. =)

Same here. 5 honors/AP classes last year = +15lbs. I'm still working on losing it all. It got to the point where I'd pass out when I got home and I' d have to pull all nighters to finish my homework, don't even mention having time to exercise.

As weird as this sounds, try not to stress out about your sudden weight gain, it'll just make things worse. When your stressed out your body is more naturally inclined to retain/gain weight. Be sure to get plenty of sleep and keep your sleep schedule close to what it was over the summer. Not sleeping properly just stresses your body out even more.

Good luck!
