I'm to young to vote too, but I'd vote no.
Marriage is about commitment&Love, not
religion, race, color, age, and GENDER.
I don't get why its such a big deal -___-

i'm still underage too ^^
but if i had the chance to vote, i would vote no.
marriage is for everyone. if you really love someone, then they should have the right to be committed to each other.
we have no right to dictate other people's lives. just because someone has a different sexual orientation as your own, doesn't give us the power to tell them if they should marry or not.

think about it this way,
put your shoes into the their shoes and see what they feel.
i would feel really sad, and disrespected if people told me i can't marry
cuz i like the same gender as i am. (just an example)
so NO for me .

there's other legit reasons why i would say no, but this is the number 1 thing
that makes me say no. lol xD

how so? arguing for religious reasons is futile, as marriage is and was a mostly economical insurance.

Well I can vote now so if my registration gets passed, I'll vote no.

Domestic partnership is really unfair so I think its important to have marriage as an option for those who really want someone by their side.
Marriage is not only about love or gender. Its mostly for economic reasons anyway...

But if they could make domestic partnership better and equivalent to marriage, it may be less controversial.

It's not for religious reasons. In my opinion I just don't approve of it. I don't want my kids to be ok with it.
So then it's ok for a grandfather and his grandson to get married? then explain your reason if its ok or not.

i can vote, but i'm too lazy to haha. but i would vote no! that proposition is ridiculous and is going against what our country stands for: FREEDOM. there shouldn't be a reason why two people who are in love can't get married.

Sorry to quote you but how is marrying between a man/man or woman/woman same as a grandfather/grandson marriage?
That is incest and that's family members. Gay marriage is done just like any other man and women out there who do fall in love.

I mean even if you don't agree with gay marriage, don't enforce it on your future kids.
Thats like saying "I approve of racism, so my kids should also approve of racism because I believe so."

Well people were saying how if they love each other they should be able to marry each other. I know what I said is incest, but what about their right to marriage & happiness then?

I dont agree and I wont enforce it on the kids, but they will be influenced by the media even more than it already is. I'm not going to homeschool my kids and isolate them from the world. LOL. make them into hermits and stuff.

I'm not old enough yet, but I'd vote no.

Incest and all that NAMBLA stuff is just wrong to me, and I believe that's all psychological, but I feel that same-sex relationships are genuine and cannot be helped; it's something that cannot be induced. There are so many people who just want to be simply in love and legally synonymous with each other.

Oh, my best friend's sister is this uber conservative who thinks the world is completely corrupt, so she's homeschooling her kids way beyond college.

I think its unfair to say vote yes because its a personal choice. If its a personal choice then don't marry someone of your same gender. Why should you be able to make that decision for someone else. Gay people are productive members of society just like everyone else, they pay the same taxes, etc., so why should their rights be stripped away because of how someone else "feels" about their relationship.

If I could vote, I would vote No.
It's not fair to not allow gay marriage. it's their life, let them be together.

I would vote no. If this bill were to be passed, it would be unconsitutional, because they'd be infringing
on our rights. The government has no right to tell me who I can and cannot marry.

I don't live in California, but I live in Arizona, and we have prop 102, which is the same thing. I have an early ballot, and have already voted yes on prop 102, which would keep marriage between a man and women. This was on the ballot in the last election, and it was defeated, so I don't have my hopes up.

To me, Prop 8 is a Civil Rights issue--not a religious one, or a political one, or a personal one. I am voting NO.
