overall i say the isf would be the clear choice for most, but what are we talking about performance, presence, eh? i mean i would get the isf sell it then get the g35 and some other car. or get an m3 lol. but strictly on looks i would take the g35, everything else the isf.

They arent even in the same class lol.

Ask yourself, do you want a teenager's car, or a car with class.

IsF dont appeal to the college kids cuz its too expensive and it basically beyond them. G35 is affordable to college kids (quite a few) and a lot of people mod it, but its not classy so to say, like would you want a STI/EVO or would you want a 5 series or a A6 type of deal.

I have an 06 G35 coupe and honestly if I had the money I would get a IS-F . But really , you cant compare it since like mike said they are both in different classes. If you are comparing an IS-F , a good comparison would have been the BMW M3

Even G37 is cheaper than ISF. ISF is like the luxury car with power made for wealthy people with good taste but want to be subtle, like your average, doctors, lawyers and dentists etc.

ISF would appeal to those who would be getting basically BMW 545, M3, Audi RS4, S5, Merc E550, C63 AMG, Porsche Boxter, Cayman etc. And people who get those cars would never consider a G35 or G37. If you have the money to buy an ISF, you can get G37 and a used G35 at the same time for the same money.

G35s and G37 would appeal to the younger less "refined" taste crowds that are into Lexus IS, BMW 3 series, Merc C class, Audi A4 etc.

And to the even younger and not "ricey" but the usually highschool early college phase would be like 350z, GTI, Rx8, EVO, STI etc.

My generalization excludes: men in middle age crisis and people who can only afford entry level luxury cars.

Wait a minute. The price range difference is just too big. Heres a question for you. Between those 2, you have no problem with the price range? Why not choose something else? The new 2009 Acura TL it's luxury and fast. smile.gif Or a NSX? cool.gif

m3>isf, no comparison lol

i drove my friends is-f, its definately much better than the g35 coupe, it gets more looks from ppl and cant beat the stacked exhaust lol. performance wise tho i mean its i guess not too big a difference, i drove a 07 g35x and you could tell isf had more power but not a big deal, esp with the price difference. if your already up in the isf range go for m3

I know that the M3>ISF , but they are both in the same class when you are comparing with an ISF, it was meant to be compared against.Of course it gets more looks then a G35 when a car like that is $20000 more, I'd better hope Id get more looks for that kind of money. And Obviously it drives much better then a G35 coupe , the G35 is basically an entry level luxery performance car, while the ISF is more then just a entry level performance luxery car. Performance isnt a big difference? a 07 G35 coupe has only a v6 293 hp (assuming the person is getting a M6 package) while the ISF has a v8 416hp. Definately a big difference in power if you ask me. You get what you pay for(though that can be debatable lol).

the next iteration of the is-f should be awesome. I wouldn't touch their very first go of a high performance lexus.

spelled infiniti wrong

performance wise the IS-F is by far better than the G35.

then again if you had the money to consider buying an IS-F why even consider a G? two different cars in different classes.

if i was in your shoes i would be thinking ///M or an IS-F and would have gone with the ///M.

///M vs. IS-f. There has so much freaking potential for the IS-f stock ECU itself. I rather choose IS-f.
