Like the saying always goes...you can't go looking for love. It will come to you eventually. Plus, being with someone has its headaches as well. You are not kidding yourself when you say you have good qualities, those sound like awesome traits! It is harder to make friends at a cc. I think you are on the right track...joining clubs and transferring. Don't worry and keep your hopes up. You aren't the only one that feels that way. A lot of people don't meet their s/o until 20+ anyway.

I suggest you become more straight foward in your courting, but make sure you don't seem desperate -- that's definitely a turn off :/ It just sounds like you've had bad luck with girls so far, but nothing should really be stopping you as long as you play your cards correctly ;D

Be more open about being "single and looking", I guess. Since this isn't high school, don't drop "hints" and the like [not like I can say anything because I'm in high school] and just speak of your interest in said person. Straightforwardness is the way to go!
