Hi SV fans!! I'm a newbie. I used to love Smallville, I even bought DVDs to watch the seasons that I've missed because of school. I stopped watching up to Season 3 but I still have Season 4 and I sometimes browse the net for updates on Season 5. I used to debate with my siblings about Clark's love interest. Personally, I'm a CHLARK fan but I already disregarded that idea of being together so I embraced CLANA as a couple now but then suddenly LOIS appeared on Season 4 so I lost my interest with Smallville, and now DUH!! LANA AND LEX!!!
Fans have waited for FIVE YEARS for their pairing and they just (producers) suddenly burst their bubbles!!
I really feel for you guys..they should have stayed up until two seasons and left the LEX/LANA and CLARK/LOIS thing in the movies. As for Chloe, there has always been the idea that she will die in the end!!

I heard they were going to try to avoid it because the romance isn't supposed to blossom until later in the Superman timeline. They're already straying really far from the Superman story with the whole Jor-El thing...I'm not sure how much more I can take.

Well but we all know that it smallville not gonna showed clark bcome superman...that's why all of sudden Lois is in clark's life (even b4 he move to metropolise)...en lana now with lex....i think there'll be Lois & Clark romance next season...I HOPE SOOO...I kinda like Lois Now...she's funny en cute....

It wouldn't make sense for their romance to start now since in the original Superman, Lois and Clark are merely friends and they've never had a past history of any sort. I think the most that the writers can do in this last season is to make Lois a more likeable character.
Because even though Clark and Lana are officially over(unfortch), there too many people still rootin' for them at this point.

I downloaded all the episodes that I missed from Season 5 from this Clubbox and I'm definitely back into it. Lex/Lana should never work out. Lex's baldness really disgusts me.
I never read or watched any other Superman series so I don't really know but does Clark ever end up with a woman?

I'm glad there is a Smallville thread here. I love this show...I so believed Tom Welling should have been Superman in the new "Superman Returns" movie..he would fit the part so well..He is already Clark Kent. 
Anyways, I think Season 5 is the best one out of all the seasons. At first I was excited by the fact that Clark and Lana are finally together...but then they broke up *tears*. She went to LEX!!! OMG...I was so mad. I can't wait up the new season starts. This Lex/Lana relationship is not going to work. What was the producer thinking?

Next season had better end; seriously, I was a tad bit disappointed with the finale. Also, Lana, wow, I used to love her so much. But now, she has become so spoiled and completely self-centered only worried about her love life while remaining ignorant of other's feelings and ordeals. Lana and Lex? PLEASE! Is she that damn desperate?! dAMMIT.

I like it better with Lana and Clark..now with Lex that's just stupid. I somewhat lost interest in the show now. But I just watched it this Thursday and saw Clark ask her to marry him, I was happy until I found out it was an old episode and he went back in time I was like damn..
