Hello^^

So i have download A LOT of Korean dramas i would like to watch on my DVD player. I bought a couple DVD-R blank CD's I burt a couple on the first try, some of them were AVI & WMV videos. I put it into my DVD player and it says " Cannot read disc". I was wondering is there any program tat i have to download to get my videos to work on my dvd player? Or do i just need to buy a new DVD player? if i do what type of brand should i get?

Thanks!

Nero Vision is what I use. smile.gif To convert AVI/Video files to Dvd player compatible formats.

you have to convert the AVI & WMV videos into DVD format in order for them to work in the DVD player

some dvd players can play avi / wmv and others format. if you don't want to buy a dvd player with those functions, you'd have to burn them as a dvd video format like lovemelody said so it can be played on any dvd player.

I downloaded Nero 9 and used the Nero Visual. I figureed out how to do it, but when it was burning on the DVD-R my computer shut down on my to a blue screen saying that it was corrupted.

nero 9 has license issues

try burning again

if the same thing pops up

try using nero 8 or lower instead

also make sure you have the proper video plug-ins for it

all nero 6 and above trials only offers demo plug-ins even if a serial key is entered [won't make the plug-ins full especially for audio plug-ins]

you'd have to search the net for the full version plug-ins or grab them from nero 5 or below

they do this so people can buy their product sweatingbullets.gif

would you be kind enough to let us know what the blue screen says if it pops up again?

oh i forgot to add don't burn at max speed anything else but max speed for dvd and you shouldn't be doing anything else on the pc/laptop if you are burning [likely chance of errors
