Mine happened this morning. I was changing lanes and it was rush hour. As I was shoulder checking the traffic in front of me stopped and I totally would have plowed in to the person in front of me if my friend didn't say something. I ended up scratching the crap out of the side of this lady's car and I dented my front bumper and cracked my left front headlight. Thankfully the damage wasn't too extensive. Anyways as this lady and I got out of our cars she yelled at me for about a minute then drove off. She didn't even bother swapping information. So I guess I got pretty lucky. I do suspect that she was driving without insurance otherwise I don't see why she would just let someone off that easy. Especially when I scraped the back of her car pretty bad. I talked to my other friend when I got to school and he told me that 40% of drivers in my city drive without insurance. o_O

So anyone been in a car accident before?

Yup, I've been in a car accident before.
It was 8 years ago though. My mom and I were at this stop sign and she put on the breaks and the guy behind us driving this funky old looking van crashed into us. So my mom walked out and he got out of his van and he asked my mom if she had insurance and my mom knew it was suspicious why he was asking it in a rush type of tone and then my mom said yeah and she asked the guy if he had it and the guy said we should " move " the cars off the road to talk and my mom said no and the guy got into his van and ran off. Then some people were chasing his car and someone got his license plate. But they caught him later for hit and run, plus doing drugs. Good thing he was in jail for a couple of years

I always ride home a bus. I was riding it and the road were divided into a lot of detours since they were having a construction. One of the road is tilted so our bus tilted a little, but it didn't landed on its supposed turn. It slide and glide in the road which makes the passengers panic.

it just scared me really badly.
and i always cry.

if you see our car right now, it looks really gross and disgusting because the paint is all coming off.
thank god we got new cars because i would be soo embarassed

yeah, I had one. I rear-ended a car when I was driving on the freeway.

I was like, "OMG OMG !! HOW AM I GOING TO PAY FOR THIS !???!?!?!?!?"

Luckily, my insurance took care of the expenses, I only needed to pay $250.
If I didn't have insurance, I'd have to pay the person I hit for around $6000

Unluckily, I totaled my car and they increased my insurance fee ;_____;

Yup, I have been in one or more car accidents with my family but those are not too serious, nothing major. One is we got bumped by a bus on our rear end in a traffic jam on our way from our province going back to the city. The back portion of the van got vented, we cannot open it. Then another one is the same van got hit by a car on the side. No one wishes to be in a car accident ever so be careful while driving everyone! Keep your seat belts on and no drinking and drinking.okies~

Accident 1. I crashed my moms 2-week old Ford Expedition
into out front porch/sunroom, denting the car, and completly tearing the porch.

Accident 2. Hitting a person in the DMV parking lot.
They were ok, because I was only doing like 5mph but still...


Accident 3. My and my friends were driving to church at like 5am, and
it had rained the night before so the streets were all wet. The road
had an s shaped turn and our car started spinning. I was in the back
and didn't have a seatbelt on. We hit a tree like right behind the door on the side
I was sitting on.

yea when I was in third grade. I was sitting in the back without a seat belt on cause I thought I was a little bad ass or something, but the accident wasn't that bad. I did have to go to the hospital though and that was an interesting experience...

got into one a few months ago... and mine was a new car... the stupid fellow in front emergency brake suddenly... he said cos the vehicle in front did that.. but that vehicle went off happily.. cant stopped in time... smashed my right headlight... so angry... though only paid 200 cos claimed under insurance... my next year insurance will shoot up... cos no matter what, insurance will put the blame on the last vehicle... dumb...

This happened when I was 3. There was this truck that was going too fast and bumped our car. We were on a bridge btw and it was like 10 in the evening. The collision was too strong that we got stranded in that area for hours. We never knew who that driver was, but my parents assumed that he was drunk since the truck wasn't moving in a straight direction before the collision. Good thing no one was hurt though.

about 2004-ish
I was 8-9 years old, watching t.v. and my dad asked if I wanted to come along with him somewhere, just for a drive or something, but then I was too lazy and said I wanted to watch t.v. so he was like 'ok' and left. on his drive this stupid idiot driving a truck went on a red light and hit the passengers side of the car. where I would have sat =o= thank goodness for t.v. xD it has saved my life =3

another time, a couple of months after that incident, we moved cities. to where we originally came from xD. we got dropped off and picked up by my classmates mom, and this dude went on a red light and hit us =o=

and number three this year about the same time 4 years ago, April.
my brother and I were going to get dropped off by my mum to this anime convention, but my mom was still a restricted driver, she reversed and the wheel went ontop of the step thingy to our house [cuz she parks beside the front door] then she broke some of the bricks and she went backwards some more and hit our garage then forward then she like..damaged the front of our car and broke the brick wall beside our front door =o=

my 4 year old brother was just like staring off into space and clueless xDD my 11 year old brother was really scared and my mom was pissed off and panicking. she was just like running out of the car and looking at everything saying 'sh**'
to me it felt like a dream

and I never got to go to that anime convention ._.

because if my mom hadn't reversed our car would have landed on its top you know
my 11 year old brother was shouting 'MOM WHAT THE FU** ARE YOU DOING?!" o_O

when i was about 9 or so i got into one with my dad
it was around 2 at night and we were driving home from a friends and i drifted asleep
next thing i knew i woke up, my heart was racing a thousand miles per hour and the
car was spinning. Turns out some car ran a red light and crashed into us, good thing
nothing happened and everyone was ok

Had my share of those. Worst thing that happened was an injured left leg and two broken ribs. I have been lucky, I guess, because that was a collision with a huge truck! From the other accidents I was suffering only from wounded pride. (LOL!)

Omg, yes. D: It was a couple years ago during winter break. My family decided to drive to Niagara Falls from Alberta, Edmonton. (A really long drive.) It was really snowy on the way there and the roads were really icy...

So one night when we were driving through Thunder Bay, our car suddenly slipped off the road and tumble down the bank of the road (inside, the car was literally turned over TWICE) and it stopped in a ditch.

I remember that my brother was so stupid, he didn't wear a seat belt so he hit the window that was next to me while the car was tumbling. =___=

It was sooo scary because after the car had stopped turning over, there was like no response for a moment. (I think because everyone was in shock) So I was scared if anyone was knocked unconscious or like dead.

Heh scariest night of my life. :[ Everyone was fine though. The windows were just cracked and the sides of the car had some dents. (It was a rented car BTW.)

Riding in a car was never the same for me again. ><

(Also, we met this really hot guy that helped us out. ;u; Even though he was a hick, but he was a good looking hick. C: )

we were on our way home from school and there was an intersection, we were going straight when out of nowhere a biker crossed the street. our driver stepped on the brakes really hard but he still bumped the biker. i flew. literally...

in 05, my sister asked me to take her car to get gas and drop her car off at her work place; while i was driving to
drop it off, i switched into the left turn lane. old people in front of me suddenly switched in last minute and hit me.
i was already shooken up and to add to that, i had to go get my blood drawn for health tests for my physical. ><

in 07, i was leaving my friend's neighborhood to go home (at 4 in the morning). i was making a left when a guy
walking his harley was walking diagonally across the street and his friend behind him in her car. 5 mph turn, i
bumped into him, causing him and the bike to fall over. i panicked and stopped. the guy stood up and started
literally cussing at me. calling me crazy and b**** and such. my friend driving behind me stepped out of his car
and started getting crazy with the guy, too. lol. but seriously! he was insane.
