I have a mole on my hip and recently it got bruised...
The area around the mole is bruised, I mean
but I don't remember doing anything to get a bruise
So I'm worried that it just spontaneously formed

Moles freak me out and I hate the one on my hip the most
It's not big but it's not flat
It has some elevation...it's like a small dark brown zit

If I can't be assured that it's nothing
I have to get it checked
But I really hate going to the doctor's office..especially when I have to show them any skin other than from what they can see with my clothes on

V: I just usually don't like showing skin and I'm a foreigner in this country so I don't have insurance so any type of doctor visits are expensive to me ㅠㅠ

I doubt anyone on here will be of much help in this case.
I'd strongly suggest you go see a doctor if you're that worried about it.
What's the big deal about showing it to them? They're trained
professionals who see a lot more than that everyday. So I personally
do not see what the big deal is. If you've ever done a full physical or
gotten colon exams or anything it's a hell of a lot worse.

moles are generally harmless, but can be an indicator for skin cancer. given that:
the colour of the mole is not consistent
the shape of the mole is irregular.........it should be almost always perfect circles or at least ovals.
as for elevation i'm not sure.

and everyone gets moles. in the weirdest places too not just you.

if you dont feel safe then just go to a general psychiatrist, or for a more advanced check up, a dermatologist.

if thing changes in the mole like when it changes color or something it can be a sign of cancer or if it grows or change shapes. if it doesn't and just look like a normal mole than you will be fine.

for safety get it checked out.. just in case! it may end up being cheaper in the long run..

...hopefully there's nothing wrong with it.

I get bruises all the time, and I never seem to remember as to how I get them either. You might have accidentally bumped into something and forgot. However, that's not to say that you shouldn't be worried about the mole, I was just giving a possible explanation to the existence of that bruise.
As others have said, check for irregularities within the mole. If it changes color, shape, increases in size, or is bigger than 6mm, then definitely have it checked out. For now, just give it a few days and see if the bruise slowly fades.
