well i am a kinda girly girl but ive realised that i luv SHOUNEN manga way more than Shoujo!!
like i love hana yori dango, goong, hana kimi, vampire knight etc etc

but like naruto bleach eyeshield 21 (which i luv!!) d.gray man air gear ..and other ones are way better!!

so just wondering bout ur opinions!! ^^

I've liked the artwork of shoujo manga better. but the storyline's are boring me. with a few exceptions.

but I like shounen anime more because of the storyline is more appealing to me than shoujo+ the artwork in the anime is more appealing to me than in the manga.

^i agree xD Shoujo manga art is so much better and usually it's the art that draws me into a manga or anime but shounen manga/anime are SO MUCH more interesting <3 haha

Shoujo.
I'm really picky when I read manga/manhwa.
I like dark shoujo mangas.
As for Naruto, I prefer to watch the anime.

I prefer Shounen manga, but I adore the artwork in Shoujo manga. It's all about the fighting and blood >D

I read wayyy more Shoujo than Shounen. I like it better, although sometimes the plots are recycled and not *special* enough, you know? How many times can the popular guy fall in love with the random normal (or better yet, glasses-wearing bookworm) girl? ;

I don't watch a lot of shoujo anime though, I think. The last one I really liked a lot was Ouran (and even that wasn't ENTIRELY shoujo).

I read more shoujo mangas, but shounen once in a while isnt too bad.
When it comes to manga, I like shoujo....but for anime I prefer more shounen

Shoujo for me. ^^ I quite like the stories sometimes for shounen manga but I don' often like the artwork. Like others have said the artwork is so pretty for shoujo manga. I love Koge Donbo's style especially. ><

I hate Shoujo alot!

Because all of the stories are about insecure crybaby girls (who just so happen to dress really well and have their hair done well) always getting a hot guy every Shoujo I read has been like that, look at Hana Yori Dango, Kare First Love, and Vampire Knight

i love reading shoujo mangas, but not the one that's really girly.. and typical.. i like the one with drama, a bit more realistic? lol confidential confession, kare kano.. mm.. slice of life maybe?

shounen mangas are good too. it's more epic than shoujo, you know ACTION !!! wowowowowo and those awesome frustrating villians and those heroes who have secret power that makes other characters go WOWWTH like naruto and bleach

Shoujo manga is amusing and fun, but Shounen manga is more interesting for me to read usually.. both have many cliche's either with the main lead as a strong unearthly superhero-type or the crybaby girl that all the hot guys like.. but I'd rather read about the superhero lol. xD and the plot actually usually GOES SOMEWHERE in shounen mangas, because for all the shoujo mangas I'm reading most of them have way too much "filler"/the plot doesn't really go anywhere for volumes and volumes.. ;;; also I grew up with Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball (as well as Sailor Moon though lol..) on tv so I'm biased. xD

I've read a gazillion Shoujo's and i really have enjoyed them all (even though some times i can predict whats gonna happen). I've only read two shounen-ish manga's before (Death note and ES- but the same author of mars), and all i can say is that these 2 shounen have left a stronger impression on me than any shoujo i have ever read (exception of NANA which i think is awsomeness). I think Shounen manga involved you to use your brain more which is why their are overall a more enjoyable read.

shoujo- i like it caz of the romance adn i read more mangas that are shoujos mostly
shonens- i watch a lot more shonen animes then shojos because there is always a shonen anime new all the time

overrall i love both but still deciding if is hould continue with shonen caz it's more eechi and shoujo on the other hand kinda-ish??
