which one would you buy?
Here is what is offered by both cameras
Sony Cybershot DSC T-2 (i cant buy the new version although its 10 mp and same look.. because its way over my budget haha and i dont have the patience to coach little kids or i dont have enough time to get to 500 $ xD (australian dollars )

Hell yeah you should definitely purchase an SD card for that one !

Anyways, the colour shouldn't affect what camera you're going to get because in the end, they're all going to do the same thing: take photos.

The Sony camera battery should be rechargeable too because it's lithium.

10px is going to look better than 8px but due to my poor eyesight I don't really see much a difference between them.
Personally I'd choose the Sony camera.

Btw are you giving it to kids to use? O_o

^^ Yea, the Sony's battery is rechargeable. I have it in white I really like it and the 4gb of memory comes in handy. Dunno much about the other camera. You should go to an electronics store and test both of them out and see which you like more

I like Sony in any color! The Fujifilm looks alright, but I try to avoid them because their batteries use to drain like crazy.

Sony released new cameras from the T-series, wouldn't you want them instead of something that's a bit older? Sony T700 has got internal memory of 4GB. Just a suggestion

if youre looking for a low budget sony, look at the sony t70

i donno about sony.. but i know a friend who has Fujifilm Finepix Z20 fd and last time i took a photo with it under the sunlight.. u pretty much can't see the LCD screen cuz the screen itself is pretty dim.. (donno if u can adjust, since the cam isn't mine..i didn't do nothing to it) so yeh..check it out at the camera store.. or something see if u can adjust the brightness or something. but the good thing with Fujifilm Finepix Z20 fd is that it has a pretty large LCD screen

I would get the sony, even if it's only 8 megapixels. Actually there really isn't much of a difference at all between photos taken by a 8 mp camera and a 10 mp camera. Plus more mp makes the camera slower because there's more info flying around inside the camera. And the sony has that cool touch screen

I'd go with a sony over the fujifilm heard the fujifilm wasn't that great >.>

Megapixels don't matter as much as the photographer behind it or the quality of lens you're using. If your camera is 12MP but with sucky lens, your pictures are going to suck. I passed AP 2D Studio class with an all photography portfolio and most of my pictures with a 4MP camera.

well, the sony cyber shot will be a lot better in quality and etc.
like other people have said, megapixels really don't matter. it's the controls and lighting stuff etc etc that really matters.
however, the fujifilm will be tons cheaper *sigh*

Trust me, take the cybershot. I have the Fuiji one and IT IS NOT GOOD. The appearance is cool but that's about it. The quality is horrible.

i got the Fujifilm Finepix Z20fd as a present and its white with pink polka dots. ^^

if i got to chose i would rather get the Sony, mainly because its Sony and seems more reliable. =]
