Yea, I can imagine it being awkward. But I suppose just don't think about it too much. You're not really friends? but acquaintances really, so you're not really obligated to say hi or whatever. But if you do want to strike up a conversation and become friends with the person, then go ahead and say hi, take a seat with them, and say "hey, do you remember me?" or something along those lines. =) Hope that helps? haha..

or u could do one of those eye brow raises that implies ur acknowledging their existence, lol.
