Ugh, I woke up this morning and found many keyed scratches on the passenger side door, all over the handle and door. and it's my first time ever having to deal with this, so what should I do? I hear there are solutions to this like rubbing compound, or should I call insurance??
Suggestions please, thanks

depends on how deep the scratch is. if your fingernail can intrude below in the paint surface, either touch-up or simple spray match. i've seen someone buff out his and it was still noticeable, but not as much as before.

like subie said, try buffing it out.
If it's KEYED then touching it up won't do. It will look REALLY horrible. You'll have to get it painted.

uggh wtf is wrong with people these days??? someone broke into my car this past summer through the passenger side window... and i ended up going with insurance... but they barely helped. you will probably end up paying for the majority of it from your own pocket.
btw did you call the police right away? you going to need a case number if youre going to call insurance.
