. Charging the mobile phone battery - Always charge the battery based on the proper instruction given on the manual book. Don’t charge it when the battery bar shows it’s still half of the bar or full . If you do that, it will make the battery empty earlier (need to charge again).Just charge it when the battery almost empty.

2. Lock the mobile phone - Always lock the phone when it’s not used. If the phone is unlocked, unknown calls can easily happen. for your suggestion, try to activate auto lock on the cell phone menu or set to ON.

3. Secure the cell phone - Always remember to secure the mobile phone using PIN on the SIM card. You need to secure your phone using a code lock and never inform someone else about the code.

4. Use the recommended battery - Always use the original battery or recommended battery from the dealer when you need replacement, it’s safer to use the original one. Don’t ever try to buy a new battery which is not recommended (not original) with the reason of the price is cheaper.

5. Clean the cell phone - Clean it regularly to keep it clean and shiny. You just need to wipe it every day or whenever it is dirty.

6. Cover the mobile phone - A good quality of cell phone case that fits properly or based on the type of the phone is the best way to protect it from dust. Always use cell phone case with air flow inside.

7. Screen protector phone - Use a screen protector to avoid scratch mark or line on your cell phone’s screen.

8. Placing the mobile phone - It is very important to place or keep the phone on a dry place. Don’t put it on wet surface or in humid place, avoiding from rain or any liquid. Place the phone in room temperature.

To bad sliders don't come with cover cases.

OH, remember to NEVER drop your phone in the toilet :[ or let it fall into the ocean =x ....lesson learn.

I've only had my phone for almost a year, and battery life last about a day and a half while, my little sister has the same phone for the same period of time, but her battery last about a week. Is that also because I charge my every night while she does her's once a week?

i have one

common sense is your best friend. leave your phone out of the bathroom, kitchen, flimsy pockts during yard work, away from paints, keys, fire, etc. if you wouldn't put your hand in, on or through it...chances are your phone wont survive.

Keep your phone in another pocket separate from keys, change, lighter (if you smoke) and etc

isn't all this basically just common sense? (the battery tip is an exception)

Yes it is, but sadly majority of people don't have any.

An engineering student once explained to us about the battery charging thing. She said that every time you charge your battery it's sets itself so that "low battery" is at the point you charge it (like if you charge it when the battery is still half full, the next low battery alert you get is when it reaches the original half capacity).

I guess the 2nd tip is not necessary for flip phones.
Thanks for the tips!

That's not it... I can't remember the reason, but I remember that's not it.
Its something about the battery only storing that amount... or some rubbish like that.
But you have to do it alot. Doing it occasionally won't do any harm.
honestly... you're not half as special as you think you are.

Don't Drop your phone..

i dont' think putting that Pin # on ur phone is a good idea.. especially if ur forgetful.. my sister put one.. and she forgot her password.. so now her Sim card is the only card that's allowed in her phone >.>
