okay...like the dumb nortern antivirus thingy is like it can't delete this...
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen...s.redlof.a.html
that's the details of the virus...but since it's from temp. internet files, i automatically cleared the history and junk...and you know how on that website it says:
Reversing the changes that the virus made to the registry
i tried doing that, but like i couldn't see nething in the final step, so does that mean the virus didn't infect it???
http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyc...OF%2EA&VSect=Sn
i even went on that site..to see how to delete it..and i got the same results i did from doing what the symantec website told me to do..so does that mean the virus is gone off my pc??
also i even clicked on the AUTOMATIC REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS from that trendmicro website, and dl the Damage Cleanup Engine / Template (tsc) thingy and it said there were no viruses after i ran it?? does that mean it's completely off..i'm planning on running a full system scan from Nortern very soon, so please all you computer geniuses help me!!!! thx!!!
P.S. if i do full system scan on NORTON (opps, i misppelled this soo many times above) and it says no virus, does that mean that stupid REDLOF junk is off? i can't trust this dumb antivirus ne more!!!

because the trend micro online scan doesnt say you are infected doesnt mean it is gone.
when you scanned with norton did it give you an option to quarantine the file? and did you quarantine it? check the quarantine option in norton. if norton wont delete it then the next best thing to do is to quarantine it.
anyway, do the full system scan and if it doesnt show up then i guess i wouldnt worry about it
thankfully, i am using Eset NOD32. the best anti virus and its very light too ^^~ i just cant trust norton anymore
