There's been alot of threads about girls doing the chasing instead of the guy. Many of us( or me at least) are wondering if guys will 'treasure' us more if we leave them to do the chasing as we think that part of the attraction is in the 'how to get her, does she like me?' stage.

So just wondering..... out of the girls who did the romancing....
what was your outcome?

I chased 2..well first one was kinda o_O..and he was interested but it wasn't enough I guess, cause well he's going out with a good friend of mine LOLOL there was alot of drama but it wasn't between me and him, more like between him, her and a guy friend cause the guy friend liked her too..............HAHAHA oh my..I was ok with it LOL so goes to show I didn't like him THAT much

and the 2nd one I thought he was interested in me, and so I kinda chased him? like I made things super obvious, but then apparently he's just NATURALLY like that to girls or something O_O and he didn't like me back after STUPID STUPID DRAMA again...........aish...but we're still really close friends and he's back with his ex whom he broke up with like 4 times before AHAHA

I went after a guy that I had never talked to before (even though we were in the same class) because I thought he was cute. We've been together for 8 months and he tells me how lucky he is to have gotten me. Needless to say he was VERY interested and had been interested in me for a while, though thought he didn't have a chance.

I never usually chase because I'm always afraid of that guy rejecting me.. so I wait for the guys to come to me. This year, I tried it, to chase a guy- and it only ended up with me getting rejected by him. >< Some people say it's because he goes for looks? I don't know..x-x.. But I've still felt bad ever since, but I still try to treat as if it never happened...and just chat with him as normally as I can.

but if the girl do the chasing, the girl love the guy more than him..

but at the end if they both together.. then they both love each other! so it doesnt matter who did the chase!

but girl doin chasing can b a humiliation for her..

I experienced the same thing as PrincessBoA; although I don't know why I was rejected by the guy, since he doesn't seem to be someone who's too big on looks. It was my very first confession ever and all he said was that he doesn't think of me in that way~ =(
I'm still into him and see him often, which sucks because I can't tell what he's thinking at all ;_;

Errm..well almost every guy I've liked...I've pursued.
And..then we'd end up dating..? The ones I pursued lasted from 9 months, to my current bf of 2 years+ =)
The times I was pursued, they were my shortest relationships ever ahaha, about 2-3 months each.

i've chased a couple guys. >_< only one of them actually resulted in the guy liking me back. two of them probably think im creepy and annoying and a stalker. haha. i don't exactly chase guys on purpose. it just happens. doesn't usually end up good.

My is not shy around people, but to girls he's pretty shy. Like, he's not the type to go for girls, because he afraid of rejection.

Manning up is all good and well, but, the very fact that we should have to 'man up' so to speak suggests that we were humiliated in the first place, no? Wouldn't make it hurt any less/reduce-ego.
