Evolution Lesson Catastrophe

I am a christian, no cross that I'm a catholic I have been catholic all my life, I go to church every Sunday and practice it attentively. Another thing is I love science, I take special interest in biology and learning about evolution, which does not mean I believe in it. So this year I got excited when I heard we're learning about evolution in the next lesson. It turn out that for the start of the lesson, the science teacher separate half of the class and made us do a debate about creation and evolution. I was furious, I couldn't stand what was happening.
If you're a christian you can tell how hard it is to think & talk about evolution, but here they're forcing us to think about both side of the perspective. It was a disaster. I was in the creationist group, everyone would had to mention god in their sentence, and we couldn't think of one evidence or accurate facts to defense ourselves (it's a debate for god sake), we were beaten.
Some kids spoke up about it, but the science teacher kept telling them to look at both sides. For once, I do not believe that creation should be bought up in science class. Creation is a beliefs NOT science. No one should bring up god's name in science. If they want to mention about creation, it should be said in a different phrase, which is intellectual design, to avoid bringing god in it, At least that's what I believe.

I agree that it shouldn't be brought up, but how is that even possible?

Isn't intellectual design just the same as saying "god's responsible for evolution?"
Tbh i can see it's good to debate and look at things from differen points of views, but science and religion is purely chalk and cheese, it's a toughie.
Luckily i'm a scientoligist, and can tell you both idea's are wrong.

ahah I knew someone will said that sooner or later. =] lol you're right it's the same thing, but I was thinking it sounded more scientific, and not religious? o.0. You know what I will cross that out too.

Meanwhile, I'll be happy to keep my savings even if I'm believing in something that isn't fact.

Yeah. That's ridiculous!
Evolution/Creation are completely different from each other.
Schools are supposed to either choose Evolution or Creation.
& Honestly also religion isn't supposed to be brought up in school.
Personally I believe in Evolution, it only makes sense. So there's no
point in preaching to be about Creation. As there is no use in preaching
to a Creationist about Evolution.
