Ok recently in one of my classes its like a family class talkin about families&relationships and theres like 4 guys in total and the rest are PURE girls(including me) and we were talkin about guys and i was talkin to a few girls who sit near me and i said" i wish i had a bf" and this girl was like,"YOU dont have a bf?! I thought u did?" so i just ignored the comment she made and changed the conversation to something else & another time well a couple of times at my work, its mostly male dominated like 2 other girls work there besides me. And they always say stuff relating to me having a bf like, one time i offered to come on my day off and one of the guys said no its ok, take the day off, spend time with ur bf. and they showed me this room for guests and tellin me i should bring my bf there sometime.

SO MY question is.. is there a certain look that u can give off to others implying u have a bf cause IM SO SINGLE. i never really had a bf or been kissed. and ppl assume im taken or something. How can u tell without any evidence that someone has a bf or gf? If so, maybe thats why im single because ppl assume im taken when im NOT before u assume like OTHERS, im not stuck up or cocky. im just SIMPLY ME=short filipino girl

Well.. obviously, it must mean you're so pretty that it's shocking to people that you're single. People aren't going to assume you have a boyfriend because you're ugly, that doesn't make sense. Therefore, it's safe to conclude that you are very, very pretty. Alritey? I don't think it's a big issue because girls don't get boyfriends from guys who randomly come up to you and hit on you anyway. Usually, it's with a close guy friend you know pretty well, and they should know you're single.

I think its just that you act more confident and comfortable around those people. Maybe you dont seem very interested in boys (most taken girls arent interested.... well.. not supposed to haha). And i'm speaking from experience, for the longest time people thought i had a bf, when i was completely single, coz i'm pretty much independent and genuinely not interested in guys most of the time.

im a guy and honestly no one has every said that i was single, not a single person. my new friends (guys) DO NOT believe me when i say 'no, i dun have gf....'. they just dont. they think im lying. and they go 'its impossible ur such a liar i dont believe you'. even before they know im single they always count me in as one of the ones that 'are in a relationship'. and then i say...'im not' they go like 'aww whaatever stop lying i know u got a gf dude'. omfg even GIRLS. Same. Well not exactly 'cause the person who asked me was my friend's older brother. It was so funny 'cause he was so sure that I either had a bf or had a bunch of guys asking me out that when I said no, he looked so stunned. I guess that's a good thing then ... but I'm still single.
