i recently had a bacterial infection and took Flagyl for a week. I was fine for a month and then i saw slight symptoms return. i'm taking flagyl currently and i'll be finished with it this friday. i take a multivitamin, craberry pills with vitamin c and i'm planning to take probiotics because i heard they're good to prevent yeast infections--just in case i do get it. but is taking 3 types of vitamins too much?

it really depends on the dosages

Uh how old are you and did you consult with your doctor before buying all those extra vitamins?

I don't really think that's too much but taking all them every single day is kind of silly since you're just taking them just to prevent things =O

Vitamin C is very good for your skin and health though^^

My mum gives me multivitamin, fish oil, spirulina and guarana. Usually I can't be bothered because they're so big, so I sneak them back into the containers. Haha.

Considering that Centrum has like 27 different vitamins and minerals in it.... lol.

I think you're safe.

Just make sure you're not going over the daily recommended dosage of that particular vitamin intake per day wink.gif

I think a multivitamin would have enough Vitamin C. Check your vitamins and make sure that you're not taking over the recommended dosage, and take your diet into account. If you're eating lots of foods with Vitamin C you're going to have an overdose.

Vitamins are supposed to supplement your diet, so you might also want to look into changing what you eat ... like eating more foods where you're lacking.

I think you're going a little overboard, but asking your doctor is always a good thing to do.
Even looking it up on Google or somewhere reliable online should help.

If you have an adequate diet you pee out most the vitamins you intake anyway.

The only vitamin that is bad to overdose on is Vitamin A, not C. Why do you need guarana for?? That's like a substitute for caffeine, do you need help staying awake? That's also found in cokes and energy drinks.
