The problem is.....

WHEN i sleep... not HOW LONG i sleep for

i sleep late but i still get my 8 hours of sleep.

pull an "all nighter". sleep at 6 AM. wake up at 2 PM.
if i do that every night, is that bad for my body & health? are we ALL supposed to sleep at 10 PM nd wake at 6 AM? what if we push those times several hours back nd delay them, but still get those 8 hours of sleep?

here's wut i found on the net:

Actually the main idea is to sleep
whenever you like and wake up whenever you like. People usually sleep early because of commitments during the day. For example, school and work.

........but is that true? becuz every1 says otherwise.......

sleeping at 6 AM and waking at 2 PM does not interfere w/ my commitments. if this becomes a normal schedule for me, is it bad? wut are the consiquences?

I believe humans are naturally meant to wake up when the sun comes up and go to sleep when the sun goes down. (Give or take a few hours!)

My brother generally sleeps from 5 AM - 12 PM. I don't think it's healthy. Mostly because of why he stays up that late... computer games.

I think you just have to look at what you're doing with your time as in why you are on this sleep schedule. If it's computer games or insomnia or studying... it's probably not healthy.

i worked in a sleep investigation lab for two years so i'd work through the night and sleep in the day. if possible, it's good to maintain a regular sleep schedule i.e. if you can get to sleep around 0600 and wake around 1400 every day... but in my experience, staying asleep can be difficult due to light/noise/heat. you also risk resetting your body clock if you get up in the middle of the day and expose yourself to sunlight and if you can't get back to sleep, it makes functioning at night a bit more difficult.

besides messing with your body clock, reducing the amount of light you're exposed to can give you all sorts of problems like lower bone density and even depression/seasonal affective disorder

imo its bad...

first, thats gonna ruin your schedule for the near future. like right now you dont have school so you're used to go to bed at 6am every night, and when school start... you're gonna be in trouble.

second, i really dont see why anybody wanna stay up that late. get all the things you want to get done early. staying up till 1 or 2 am is fine but 6am.. thats crazy, atleast to me.

third, not good for your health in general.
H3LLL YEE..

Your body doesn't respond as well to sleeping during the day as it does at night. However, as long as you're getting your 8 hours, you won't die! tongue.gif

imo its not particularly bad for your health but itll just screw up your body's schedule if you sleep like that everyday. Once your body is used to that kind of schedule itll be hard to change when you need to.
