I used to have this one prgram that would correct grammatical errors and convert subtitles to .srt files. Then I used VirtualDub to hardsub the softsubs. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good programs to use for hardsubbing videos? I don't even know where to begin. I hope you guys can help me out ^^

I usually use Aegisubs to make the softsub and then use Auto GK to turn it into hardsubs onto the video.
When using Auto GK though, you have to push control + F8 and then an option will come to put the soft subs on, and it does it all for you
Sometimes it doesn't work though because of the video file but most of the time it does.
Hope that helped.. there are other ways to do it too but this is most simple for me

Thanks for the suggestion. Just out of curiosity, if you don't mind explaining them, what are the other methods?

Aside from Auto GK are there any other good hardsubbing programs? I would greatly appreciate the help ^^

Just wondering, why you want to hardsub? Just do softsubs?
I prefer the videos to be hardsubbed because it's easier to watch for me. And I also wanted to put some dramas onto my mp3/video player but I wanted to hardsub some videos so I can put them on with subs.
